Our trading is closed until after the season, but it will open before we need to get down to 12 keepers. QB, 2-3 RB, 3-4 WR, 1-2 TE, Def, K

I've all the become deep at WR and am thinking about consolidating to try to upgrade. My biggest needs are QB and RB, but had the thought of trying to get Chase. It's intriguing to have Jefferson, Chase combined with a DK, Waddle, JuJu and/or Jeudy for the future while having Adams in the short term.

Any thoughts on if 2 of the WRs below (maybe 3 adding Evans) could net Chase. One challenge is the team that has Chase isn't very good, so it'd have to be two of my young WRs (again possibly Evans). I traded away my 1st and 2nds the next two years.

My team below with my current keepers bolded. If I trade 2/1 I'd be able to keep a QB or another TE. I put it in a Poll, but would appreciate if you leave who you think the combination would be.

Cousins, Rodgers
Barkley, Jacobs, Fournette, Z. White, Gordon
Jefferson, Adams, Waddle, DK, JuJu, Evans, Jeudy
Kelce
, Henry, Woods

If I was the Chase owner I would need Waddle, Barkley, and Adams to move Chase in a keep 12 league and then I still might not do it depending on how many roster spots I had available. Without picks you are really at a loss for a deal like this.

Also, Evans has very little value in a deal like this. Who knows what his QB situation will be and he has had such a bad year his perceived value is extremely low.

Thanks for your response. I always enjoy getting your insight.

I can't do RB because I have no depth there, so maybe I can't make it work. I don't think I mind Adams, Waddle + (Jeudy or JuJu). I just don't think Adams makes sense with his team. In my opinion, he needs to quality youth (I get Chase is young) and fill in a starting line up.

I guess maybe more question is would it be worth it if he bites to give up the quality youth I have to get Chase? If so, I hope JuJu and Jeudy can continue on momentum from last week and I can seel high adding a piece (Adams/Evans).

I'd project his keepers to be:
Tannehill
Zeke, Cook, McKinnon, Vaughn, Kelley
Chase, Kupp, Metchie, Philips
Njoku

Last toss between Darnold, Corral, J. Kelley, Cobb or Ertz

Putting your thoughts on someone else's team sometimes can prevent you from making deals. Everyone sees things differently and until you know what the other guy thinks shying away from a possible move because you don't think they will go for it can prevent you from a good deal.

You can float an offer of Adams/Evans/Jeudy for Chase and see what he says.

Deep thoughts by Gally... That was the perfect response. I like where your going with that one. It gives me more possibilities. Thanks again!
