Looking to upgrade my current monitor and move to a 1440p gaming monitor. Anyone have any recommendations for a really good one? Budget is about $350 to $400-ish.
I see that there are PLS and IPS Panels, where PLS is a cheaper technology. What's the real difference besides price? Is one better than the other in actual reality? I see a lot of the Qnix Monitors on NewEgg getting good reviews, but I see some of those have an AHVD panel - what's that?
Anyways, if anyone has any recommendations or info (to help me make a better decision) that would be great as I'm itching to pull the trigger but want to make sure I get a good monitor.
