Send me a PM or post a response here that you want in and I will send you the invite
POOL FORMAT
This is a Survivor pool where you pick 1 team for each day of the NCAA Mens's Division 1 Basketball Tournament. If your team wins, you advance and you can't pick that team again. If they lose, you're out. The person who makes the most consecutive winning picks wins the pool.
POINTSPREADS
This pool does not use pointspreads. Wins are determined on a straight-up basis.
TIEBREAKERS
If 2 or more people are surviving in the pool and they all get eliminated the same day, it will be considered a tie.
When a player makes a winning pick (technically advancing to the next day) but doesn't have any teams left to pick, that player is still in the running and will only be knocked out when someone else in the pool makes another winning pick. It is the eventual number of winning picks that determines who wins the pool.
The final tiebreaker is the Championship Game Total Points Prediction. If 2 or more people could be tied heading into the Championship game, those people are required to enter a prediction for the total points scored by both teams in the Championship game. The predictions must be entered under PICKS: Tiebreaker Pick before the Championship game starts. The predictions will show up under STANDINGS:Championship Tiebreaker after the game starts. The person closest to the actual total points scored by both teams wins this tiebreaker. Over or under doesn't matter. The pool manager will declare the winner based on this tiebreaker if necessary.
PICK DEADLINE
The pick deadline is currently set for 11AM ET and this will be your daily deadline unless the pool manager changes it. The pick deadline may be later than the first game time of each round. You can never enter or change a pick for a game that has already started and you cannot enter or change picks after the pick deadline.
MANAGER PICKS
The pool manager can enter picks for anyone at any time, even after the tournament has started. When this happens, the website flags the late picks in the standings pages so that everyone knows that a late change has been made.
CONFIRMING PICKS
It is your responsibility to confirm that your own picks are accepted by the website. You can do this in a number of ways including the pick confirmation email and by returning to the pick sheet to see that your selections are prefilled. The picks shown on the website after the deadline has passed are your FINAL picks.
PRIZES AND FEES
$15 per entry - with $1.50 per entry to run the pool and cover PayPal costs - everything else goes to the pool - WINNER TAKE ALL!
