...since 2002 (data set is 2002 - current).

Some strong candidates to join them this year:

1 Willis McGahee rb 2013 106 275 2.5943 17 1 34.10002 Bernard Pierce rb 2013 102 280 2.7451 12 2 45.00003 Rashard Mendenhall rb 2013 118 338 2.8644 22 4 66.60004 Maurice Jones-Drew rb 2013 157 455 2.8981 31 4 85.00005 Trent Richardson rb 2013 127 377 2.9685 18 2 66.40006 Ray Rice rb 2013 139 423 3.0432 19 4 84.1000Pierce and McGahee are unlikely to get to 150 I think, but the other 4 will (obi MJD is there). Who will be below the 3.0 mark at season's end???

Here's the studly 3 to do so before...

1 Jonathan Wells rb 2002 195 537 2.7538 21 3 76.50002 Marcel Shipp rb 2005 156 449 2.8782 22 0 70.40003 Rudi Johnson rb 2007 170 497 2.9235 27 3 84.7000Interestingly, none in the last 5 years.

Richardson without a doubt.

MJD is the only other on that list IMO

I can't see rice doing it.

Pierce maybe, but he needs 50 more rushes.... Might not get that

I suppose that if I own 2 of the 6 on the list and I tried to trade for 2 of the others, that means I'm bad at this, huh?

:bag:

1 Willis McGahee rb 2013 110 287 2.6091 19 1 35.30002 Bernard Pierce rb 2013 113 310 2.7434 14 2 48.00003 Ray Rice rb 2013 155 453 2.9226 20 4 86.80004 Trent Richardson rb 2013 134 392 2.9254 19 2 69.00005 Rashard Mendenhall rb 2013 131 392 2.9924 25 5 80.40006 Maurice Jones-Drew rb 2013 171 539 3.1520 35 5 105.4000McGahee won't make 150 unless something very weird happens.

Pierce had 11 more pedestrian carries, and I think has a great shot.

RR lost some ground on YPC (had 1.9 YPC yesterday) and will be close...

Richardson and Mendenhall will be coin flips as well

MJD I think keeps his head above water ultimately...

I realize in the opening post, you guys are looking at 2002 to current. It is interesting to note, though, that the Patriots had two such qualifiers in the 1986 season.

Pierce needs to break that 150 mark, will be tight...needs 21 carries in 3 games. He had 7 yesterday. Going to be close.

Trent / Ray, hard to say.

McGahee took a bad hit yesterday. I won't be shocked if he is shut down for a concussion. If he does play again, though, he should accomplish this dubious feat. Playing vs the Jets defense will help in Week 16.

I think ray rice could just get over 3.0 and miss

Trent... I just don't see him pulling it off. Mcgahee as well. I think those 2 got it locked.

Ray Rice being in this group is just unbelievable. I think Pitta returning might help him.

McGahee, I'd love to know if Browns fans think it was really worth bringing him in for one last rodeo instead of going with the younger players like Oby & Rainey whom they let got. An Ogbonnaya & Rainey backfield would have been pretty cool I'd think. McGahee just seems to take all the energy out of their offense when he's out there.

I'm pretty sure Pierce was released to make room for Pitta.

Bernard Scott was released to make room for Pitta, not Bernard Pierce.

Football Outsiders ranks Baltimore's run offense as the 2nd worst in their data base's history, dating back to 1990.

has anyone ever had sub 3 yds per on over 200 carries ... Ray Rice could be in a class by himself

Wow, I realize they won a Super Bowl, but this has to be related to letting Cam Cameron go.

see above...Eddie George had over 300 carries and did it, truly defining mediocrity.

3 others have had 200 (Marion Butts for New England in 1994, Reggie Cobb for Tampa in 1993, and Harold Green for Cincinnati in 1993.

Is New England 1994 the worst?

Here's the list

91 Colts

13 Ravens

05 Cards

13 Jaguars

02 Texans

91 Eagles
It looks like TDs are heavily weighted...

If you ask me, Colts 1992 season was worse than 1991

McGahee would of no doubt joined the list if he didn't get hurt. If he is on any roster next year shame on the team that employs him. Always hurt, old and uneffective does not require a roster spot.
