Looking to have a swift draft, hopefully starting today and finishing before rollover on Wednesday. There is ONLY a 4 hour clock on picks, although the clock will pause from 10pm to 10am ET.

Entry Fee: $50 a year, leaguesafe, majority approval
Entry fee due date: April 1st
Trading: Please note that you will be unable to trade away any draft picks (current and future) until you are paid up. It is incentive for owners to pay early. Additionally, if you trade ANY of your future draft picks, you must pay that years dues in leaguesafe within 24 hours.
Roster Size: 26
Starting Lineups: 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2superflex, 2 flex = 10 total
Startup draft: NFL style snake draft, 4 hour clock, clock paused 10pm to 10am ET
Format: bestball / total points league
Theme: The theme is based on the FX show "The League". All owners must have a "The League" themed team name and icon. Please keep your icons in good taste.
What this means is that each week your best lineup is made for you automatically. This is a total points league, meaning there is no head-to-head matchups each week. League champion will be decided based on the team with the highest points scored after 16 weeks.
Scoring: please see scoring setup in the league settings
Year 1 : League start up
We will have our start up draft as soon as league is filled. The plan is for it to start the February 2nd as long as it is filled quickly.
Draft order will be randomly generated once the league is full.
The start up draft will not include rookies. Instead, rookie picks 1.01 - 4.12 will be included in the start up as draftable assets.
After the start up draft, we will have a second (rookie) draft, which will occur on a date soon after the NFL draft is completed.
There will be two blind bidding waiver periods — one in June and one at the end of August. Every owner will receive $200 blind bid dollars. It is up to you how you spend it during the two blind bidding periods. Note that this is total, not $200 for each blind bid period. So if you decide to spend your entire $200 during the first blind bid period, you will have none for the second blind bidding period. Again, how you choose to spend your money is entirely up to you.
Blind bidding funds will not carry over from offseason to offseason. So whatever you don’t spend will be lost.
After the second blind bidding period, we will then have first come, first serve waivers up until the week 1 of the regular season. This will be the only FCFS waivers of the offseason, so use that knowledge accordingly.
During the regular season: there is zero management during the season. This means no waivers and no trading. Use this knowledge to adjust your off-season strategy accordingly.
Off-seasons following year one:
There will be 3 blind bidding waiver wire periods — one pre-rookie draft after MFL yearly league updates and after the league is full and fully paid, one post-rookie draft, and one at the end of August. These are the only three waiver periods of each off-season.
There is only one FCFS (first come, first serve) waiver period which will occur immediately after the final blind bidding period right before the start of the regular season.
The amount of blind bidding dollars each owner receives is weighted based on the reverse final standings of the season. These $$s are below:
16th place: $320
15th place: $315
14th place: $310
13th place: $305
12th place : $300
11th place : $295
10th place : $290
9th place : $285
8th place : $280
7th place : $275
6th place : $270
5th place : $265
4th place : $260
3rd place : $255
2nd place : $250
1st place : $245
This will be your total allotment for blind bids for the entire off-season. It is up to you how you choose to spend it. Any left over does not carry over to the next off-season and is lost.
The rookie draft will be a 4 round draft. Draft pick order is determined by the reverse final standings of the season.
Payouts:
Total prize pool = 16 * $50 = $800 - MFL fees (estimated @ $70, but if less, leftover funds will added 1st place) = $730 for payouts
Weekly high score - 10$ each
Highest overall weekly score of the regular season - $40
1st place team finishing with the most points - $300
2nd place team finishing with the 2nd most points - $150
3rd place team finishing with the 3rd most points- $80
General off-season schedule:
February 1st - trading turned on
First week of April - 1st blind bidding waiver period (this is assuming MFL has done their yearly site update and all things are working properly)
Monday following NFL draft - 4 round rookie draft
First week of June - 2nd blind bidding waiver period
Last week of August - 3rd blind bidding waiver period
After the 3rd and final blind bidding waiver period has been processed - First Come, First Serve waivers will be available until 5pm the day before the first NFL regular season game.
September 1st - trading is turned off
(disregard the first blind bidding waiver period for the initial start up offseason. The rest remains the same)
