The former owner was allowed to trade all of his future draft picks without paying in advance? That's what I'm assuming since there's no mention that the incoming owner receives a break on the fee since he/she has no draft picks to improve with.

Yes, normally a fee is collected, but this owner was removed and I refunded him everything. Had he abandoned the team, he would have not been refunded.

Ugh! How do you trade away 2 years worth of draft picks and still end up with a team like that? I'd love to help you out, but I've already got a similar team in Red Dog.
