Starting a 16 team dynasty/salary/contract league. I have run a league now for 4 years and am applying best practices to this new league with pretty much the same concept. The old league is running strong but we lost three owners the last two years and had to replace them. It was pretty easy, but looking for hardcore fantasy ballers who are okay for the long haul. This league I run is mostly friends, but that got us in trouble because a key group wants year round action. That is what this league is.
As an example, one guy drafted Steve Slaton out of the initial draft. He had an expensive contract. Hurt him the first year and half the second, but by the start of last year through draft picks, trades and FA he was a playoff contender. The salary cap structure makes you cut players more often, trade for cap space and manage your team making it easier to turn a bad team into good. I want guys willing to do this for years.

I am still cleaning up the website and will be adding a little more content. This is a start up league with a veteran draft, rookie draft, weekly Blind Bidding FA and a FA auction period.
Entry fee is only $60 bucks and we can revisit every year. This is more about the football, but 16 at 60 is still a solid payout.
