16 Team Dynasty Startup League - Unique Roster Start-Up (1 Viewer)

I'm looking at starting up a Dynasty league with the following features:

16 team league, PPR (0.4 points per reception), IDP league

40 man rosters, 4 additional I/R eligible, 5 practice squad

Each team owner will select an NFL franchise. Each team owner will then select one offensive player and one defensive player from that NFL franchise as the building blocks to their team (e.g. Minnesota Vikings: Adrian Peterson, Jared Allen; Indianapolis Colts: Peyton Manning, Dwight Freeney). They will then be free to modify the team name, while maintaining the NFL franchise city in their name (e.g. Indianapolis Colts to Indianapolis Cowboys; Minnesota Vikings to Minnesota Timberwolves). Note: You will need to be cognizant of actual player salaries as these will count towards your overall team salary cap.

The inaugural draft will be based on the inverse order of the 2009 points scored by the selected team (e.g. Peterson/Allen scored a combined 600 points in 2009, while Manning/Freeney score a combined 750 points in 2009 - the Minnesota franchise would have the earlier draft pick).

Will be setup on ESPN when available (expecting early May 2010) with ProBoards for team management.

Salary cap of $110 million, player salaries based on actual NFL contracts

RFA, UFA, franchise and transition tags, rookie draft (after inaugural year)

Starting lineup:

1 QB

1 RB

1 RB/WR

2 WR

1 WR/TE

1 TE

1 DT

2 DE

4 LB

2 CB

2 S

1 K

No cost up front, and no league payout at end of year.

Looking for owners who will be active year-round. Have three teams set to go to date...looking for twelve more.

Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens are taken as of 3/17/10 PM

E-mail for serious owners ONLY who will remain active year-round...e-mail a brief bio of your fantasy football experience and your team preference to robert.gibson36@gmail.com for consideration.

I'll forward you the league constitution when the final draft of it is complete for your review. If you concur with the league constitution, we'll then finalize the process with your selecting of your one offensive and one defensive player (from your NFL franchise) to start your team. Then we'll get your team setup on ProBoards and lineup everything for a June 2010 draft.

I'm looking to setup 8 AFC teams and 8 NFC teams in a four division league.

Thank you for your consideration.
