18 year old leaves house, sues parents to pay for college and living e (1 Viewer)

this girl is a waste of air that the rest of us could be using bam another riddle solved by the old swcer take that to the bank brohans and you are welcome in advance

This is really strange. I guess objectively she's hot. I guess.

I think I'm getting old. This is the first time I can recall looking at pictures of someone older than 18, who is "objectively" good looking, and not being attracted to her because it just seems wrong.

Good god, I'm an old man. :(

Yeah, you need to get that checked out. She's a fine little piece of tenderoni.

This chick should be the featured star of a bukake video... Then killed.

I'd cut my kid out of my will for this kinda ####...

She prob didn't want to follow curfew, do chores, and other simple stuff like that.

Cut her out of the will?? All she needs is a good spanking.

I think I know what the problem is: I do a volunteer gig where I teach 8th graders. I think I've trained my brain, Clockwork Orange style, that anyone who is, or may be, a teenager is automatically repulsive. It's the only way I can survive.

This is all over the local news, and I've been following for a few days now. I'm convinced there's more to this story than is out in the media, and it's slowly coming out.

-Inglesino was the former mayor of Rockaway township. Canning's father was a former police chief. I feel like there's something more there.

-Her lawyer is probably in cahoots with Inglesino "Hey, I'll push this girl to you and "pay for it," but we can just sue her Dad, win, and he'll pay for it."

-I wouldn't be surprised if there's something between the girl and Inglesino. He just gives off that "scum" vibe.

For those of you thinking this is a money grab - Based on where they live, Inglesino is a heck of a lot better off than Canning. Either Inglesino is just a huge #######, or Inglesino and Canning have had it out before, or both.

I personally hope she never gets a dime.

Someone better start to "Ask the right FKUCING questions!!!"

All I know is, I don't gamble and when I see an honors student at a private school with an eating disorder and a drinking problem, I'd bet money there's something very wrong in that house.
'Wrong' and abusive are very different things.
No, they aren't 'totally different.' They're two categories, one of which is wholly within the other. Abuse is wrong. And it's a definite possibility as to what is 'wrong' in a situation like this.

This...Sometimes people just have problems. They can manifest themselves in many ways. If she's overly material and narcissistic, then she could be a good student, etc, but still have major image problems. Poor self-image can contribute to eating disorders, and drinking problems to deal with the pain.

It is also well within the realm of possibilities that she is a spoiled little brat who doesn't want to follow rules.

I said very different, not totally. I'm not denying that there is a possibility of sub-standard parenting, but if we assumed that every bratty kid with a substance abuse issue is from a negligent or abusive family, DCFS would have a hard time keeping up.

It is very possible. But human beings aren't just machines creating random personality traits.

Honors student is a big part of this equation. A very big part.

And yes, sorry for misquoting. I don't know what happened there. I equally disagree with calling a rectangle "very different" from a square.

There is an old saying that you can tell when a teenager is lying-- their mouths are moving.

I don't see what being an honors student has to do with anything. It just means she's smart.

I don't know, the text of that voicemail she left her mom as well as the fact she was suspended twice strongly leads me to believe that she's a liar and that her parents are telling the truth.

Sometimes you get a peach home from the supermarket and it's still really firm but you eat it anyway because hey, peach.

An honors student with emotional problems is a huge red flag for abuse in the home.

I know plenty of honors students that were ####### lunatics on their own volition...

Would this make that much of a difference if she was a B+ student on her way to Rutgers instead of being in the National Honors Society?

The richest kids in my school were the ones who drank the most on the weekends and were most likely to get into coke. The best parties were always in the most affluent neighborhoods. The poor kids would drink forties, smoke pot and cut themselves.

Had this happen to me last night, and I'm only 30. 18 year old daughter of a softball buddy (who is actually dating a 28 year old different buddy of mine) who is by all objective accounts hot, but just seems grossly young to me. I'm chalking it up to knowing her since she was like 14 and being friends with her dad, along with my now being married, but this was definitely a first "woah, she's of age and i'd want nothing to do with her because she's so young" moment.

But in Clockwork Orange the narrator still had the desires/intent. That was like the entire point of that book.

Thank God this hasn't happened to me yet. And I'm 42.

I've known plenty of honors students that were drinkers and got into general mischief. An intelligent teenage girl with a narcissistic complex and perfection issues can be one of the most destructive beings imaginable.

The other problem is that the wrong people can easily manipulate her. Playing into her alleged abuse and feeding her delusions to get her to do what you want. It sounds like the friends parents are using her as a tool to get at the parents.

I doubt the parents are up for Mother and Father of the year but there's no way these alleged abuses are just coming to light with no criminal actions having been brought against them. She's being fed a line of bull#### and just willingly went along with it because she feels entitled due to her life of privelege. If anything theyre guilty of spoiling her and not preparing her properly for life. She will have it easy for her 20's due to her looks but she's all butn guaranteed no one takes her seriously for the rest of her life.

This started happening to me about a year ago. It's a weird feeling. Like, I know they are hot. But at the same time, I can't stop thinking how wrong it is to be looking at someone who two years ago was only learning how to drive.

Hmmm. I guess I understand this. Like I have a niece in college who is easily a 9, but I don't want to #### her, because she's my niece. Is it kind of like that?Who am I kidding, I probably would if she was into it. :bag:

If divorced fathers are expected to pay for their 18+ year old children's college education, why are these parents not faced with the same burden?
I know several divorced fathers that didn't pay for their kid's college education
 well I live in jersey and I know guys that do I guess it varies by state or case.
You're required by law to pay for your kid's college in NJ?
I don't have first hand knowledge but two friends I know had this situation and the fathers had to pay in the end. Feel like I've heard other examples of this too. DivorcedGuys?
