NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Panthers don't expect DeAngelo Williams (thigh) to play Sunday against the Lions.
Williams showed up on the injury report Thursday after mid-week soreness. The Panthers are concerned with his explosion and burst on the balky quad. Jonathan Stewart will carry the mail for Carolina against a stout Detroit front. Sep 14 - 8:45 AM
