Crazy... :goodposting:

He seemed sure McCluster is going in the 3rd round, for whatever that's worth.

I really loves Spiller and Matthews, but I didn't see him say a single negative thing about anyone.

Gil, you couldn't possibly go the entire chat without discussing the Cowboys. Could you please tell us your thoughts on the Boys moving up to get Bryant and who will they get to bolster the O-line in rd 2?

Gil Brandt, NFL.com

Gregory, I think they got a great value pick in Dez Bryant. It was well worth moving up for him. they possibly would be looking for a safety here in round 2 instead of an O-lineman. Deep down, I think they feel they can re-sign Flozell Adams for a little less money. When the Redskins drafted Trent Williams, the possibility of Adams returning to Dallas became even greater.

He's pretty sure Vikings will skip on Claussen and maybe go DL

Brian Price, Terrence Cody, Everson Griffen, Linval Joseph, Carlos Dunlap.

Maybe Kindle at LB.

Claussen could go to KCC, BUF, CLE if not there, then he slides maybe to SFO

Hope you told Mr. Davis to go ahead and pull the trigger on a trade for Haynesworth or Campbell

Sorry, I don't think we have to worry about al trading for Campbell -- at least not here in the second round.

Don't he Vikes play a 4-3? I don't really know why people want to peg Dunlap in a 4-3 DE role. He can play at 290. He's a better run defender than pass rusher, but he does them both very well. I think he could play a 3-4 DE.

He also answered my question on Griffen.

Patrick, AtlantaEverson Griffen dropped into the 2nd round. Does Atlanta have enough ammo to move up high enough to get him (thinking upper 3rd), and is he worth it?Gil BrandtHe's a good player and good pass rusher. I don't see how they have enough to get him, seeing as the Falcons gave up this year's second-round pick in the Tony Gonzalez deal.
I didn't word it well, by "thinking upper 3rd", I meant upper 3rd of the 2nd round, but it sounds like he got it, and doesn't think we have the ammo to move up.
