I've been racking my brain all day today trying to develop the perfect strategy for tonight's draft in my most important and financially risky fantasy football league. Here is the starting roster:
2 QB , 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF, and 1 W/T Flex position. Here is the interesting part.
20 passing yards = 1point
Passing TD = 6 points
10 rushing/receiving yards = 1 point
Rushing/Receiving TD = 6 points
10 person league
This system of scoring seems to favor QB's in my opinion. When I won the league 2 years ago and made it to the championship this past year I got solid QB's early. Unlucky for me both years McNabb was one of them. I'm trying to figure out how I should draft tonight and how much drafting position will affect my decisions. Any help/feedback that you can think of would be greatly appreciated. This is kind of what I'm thinking right now:
RB, QB, WR, Either WR or RB, Either WR or RB....and then I'm kind of stuck after the 5th. Any ideas? Do you think this strategy is optimal?
