I'm sorry if this has been discussed -- I couldn't find it in a search due to the small number of letters in "Two" and "Qb."
Anyway.
I'm curious to hear from other owners who are in 2 QB leagues. QB's come off the board at an alarming rate in our league, i.e. as many as 6-7 QB's will be gone in the first 2 rounds, and most likely 10 will be gone by the end of the 3rd. This usually leads me to try to buck the trend and wait on QB's while loading up on RB's and WR's, hoping to pick up two solid qb's with upside later in the draft. The problem with that strategy is that it can seriously backfire on you if you're waiting on a couple of specific guys and they happen to go off the board before you expected. I've also tried something in between -- taking a QB in the first 3 rounds and then not taking another one until much later.
I'd love to hear what strategies owners are using this year in 2 QB leagues. Assuming that I don't go QB in the first 3 rounds (which I doubt I will unless I see Rodgers sitting there where I can't pass on him), my targets for my QB1 are Garrard, Ryan, Roethlisberger, and Palmer and for my QB2: Eli Manning, Hasselbeck, Edwards, and Hill. Also like the idea of Culpepper as a QB3 very late.
Looking forward to hearing some thoughts on this.
