2 quarterback league (1 Viewer)

Where do I go to read about 2 quarterback leagues that give 6 pts for both touchdown passes and touchdown rushes?

Thanks.

Why, what questions do you have? There might be an article or two on FBG. I know there has been quite a bit of discussion on 2 QB leagues on this forum recently.

Cheatsheets here have a 2QB setup...

I think i am in the minority as my prime money league is a 10-teamer 2Qb start...

What i think you'll see is brady off the board by pick 4-5...manning at the turn..... Brees/Romo/CP gone by end of 2, maybe one slides to beginning of 3.

By the end of rd 7, most teams will have their 2 starters and it will be pretty dried up. This means a big run in round 4-6.... If you lock in brady early, i think it presents some RB value plays, and some added flexibility for which way you can go with your draft.

I'll temper that by saying that I think you lock in Lt2 with the No. 1 pick if you have it... I could see arguments for pick 2-3, but LT2 is still the creme de la creme IMO..

My question would be along the lines of "Is Tom Brady more valuable than LT with that particular setup???
Generally not, but it is debatable. The VBD (value based drafting) way to figure this out is to take how many points that you think Brady will score say 440 (4000 passing yards, 40 TD's) and subtract how many points you think the worst starter at QB will score (if it is an 8 person league, it will be the 16th overall QB, a 10 person league, the 20th overall QB and so on), say 270 (3000 passing yards and 20 TD's), to get a value of 170.Now do the same thing for RB's. Say LT will score 320 (2000 combined yards and 20 TD's) and the worst starter will score 148 (1000 combined yards and 8 TD's), so the difference is 172.172 is more than 170, so LT would be more valuable under that set of projections. Dynamic VBD will probably move heavier in favor of RB's because you'd expect more running backs to be drafted in the early rounds, so the drop off in point production from pick to pick will be higher. There are a lot of articles on this site on these specific theories.

My main league is a 10-team KEEPER with IDP. We start 2 QB's. They are the highest scoring, but it is all about what they represent versus the points of the worst starter at each position as stated above. That used to be called the "X" factor, but the concept still remains. It allows you to compare different positions more easily.

I can't even play in other leagues after playing in this format for so many years. 2 QB's that START for your team changes the landscape. I am fortunate to have replaced Favre and Hasselbeck with Romo and Roethlisberger. I will be keeping them awhile.

We keep 7 of 11 starters on offense AND 7 of 11 on defense. If your team is strong, it is difficult to decide on the last keeper. This year for me on offense it is Fast Willie(RB3)or Steve Smith Car(WR3). If your team needs rebuilding, drop 'em all and start over. That strategy has produced FFL champs in our league the FIRST year more than once!!! more commonly, though, an owner will keep a couple guys and draft early.

Good luck this year. I can't wait for some FOOTBALL!!!
