You must be able to attend the LIVE draft in ATLANTA area. Date of draft still undetermined at this time but will be a weekend or weeknight. Draft is usually held in Alpharetta or Roswell area. This is a redraft league but it is NOT a keeper league.. Players range from "first year playing" to very experienced players doing 2 or 3 leagues each season. It is a mixed league of men and women. This league is not a keeper league. It is a playoff league but winners will be paid for the regular season AND the playoffs.
Winners will be paid as follows:
1st place regular season - $160
2nd place regular season - $100
3rd place regular season - $60
Winner of playoffs - $50
Playoffs will be the top 8 teams. Therefore, it is possible that the same person could win the regular season AND the playoffs.
We will do a LIVE DRAFT. We do a snake-style draft. It will be a regular draft type - NOT an auction style.
All players will go on the waiver wire from Sunday through Tuesday. Each team manager will have $100 to buy players off the waiver wire during that time. Highest bid buys the player. the $100 needs to last you all season. you can still obtain players through trades and free agents.
Speaking of trades. . .there are no "trade backs". That means teams may not make two trades involving the same player during the season.
The last place team during regular season must pony up a $10.00 loser fee!
