12 team head to head league. Coaches spread out from Montreal to nyc to philly. League was started in 2002 and has mostly the same managers since then, with some rotation over the last few years as people start families, move, etc..
I would categorize the league as fairly competitive. Definitely times I think I've spotted a bargain waiver wire name that 'surely no has claimed yet', only to find he was snagged a week beforehand.
League basics:
1 qb
2 rb
2 wr
1 te
1 rb/wr flex
1 k
1 def
7 bench
1 IR
6 pts all TDs
1 pt per 25yds pass
1 or per 10yds Rush
.5 pt per reception
Standard beyond that
Prizes are playoff winner heavy, but we also have prizes for regular season 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, as well weekly high scorer (25) and a "playoff reset" where highest cumulative point total throughout playoffs (whether or not you're in them) gets prize (75). Also thinking about a survivor style prize this year where lowest weekly scorer is eliminated each week and the last team left wins prize (75).
Try to keep everyone engaged all season.
There is an average of 16 or 17 trades per year (although a few coaches, ironically the ones people feel offer lopsided deals, feel there should always be more- but that's an industry wide thing).
Also, online draft is Monday, Sept 7th @ 7pm
PM me if you're interested. Thanks for reading.
