2 Trade Offers to Ponder (1 Viewer)

I'm in a 10 team PPR league. 6 points all TDs. 5 bonus points for RB/WR over 100 yards.

Starting lineup:

QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, Flex (RB/WR/TE), K, D

I've been offered two trades.

Jimmy Graham and Bilal Powell for Gronk and Paul Perkins.

Jay Ajayi for Kareem Hunt.

I like the addition of Powell and believe Graham could be close to Gronk. Powell should outscore Perkins by a ton of points. As for giving up Kareem Hunt for Ajayi, that too seems like a no brainer. Am I wrong with either deal? Do accepting these trades minimize by bench depth or help?

Thanks for the feedback.

ROSTER:

QB: Russell Wilson, Rivers

RBs: Lamar Miller, Kareem Hunt,Paul Perkins, CJ Prosise, Derrick Henry

WRs: Antonio Brown, Keenan Allen, Marvin Jones, Mike Wallace, Rishard Matthews

TE: Gronk, Ertz

Quickly accept the Ajayi deal.  A guy that was deservedly going in the 2nd round of rookie drafts for a fringe 1st round startup draft pick.  Done deal.  I assume dynasty but I could be wrong.  Either way quickly do it.

The other trade comes down to personal preference I think.  Yes I also believe Jimmy G is going to produce a lot better this year and be on par with Gronk, but I also like niether of those RB's.

I actually don't make either deal.  Hunt is going to be the lead back in a RB friendly offense of a team that will pound the ball and has a decent line.  I think he will be just as good as Ajayi.  My worry with Ajayi is that he had almost all of his production come in two games last year against terrible defenses (granted he probably plays those again) but I don't trust him and think they may open things up a bit more with Cutler behind center.  I think that is a lot closer than most here has said so far.

As for the other one, I don't make that one because I am not so sure that Powell will be much better than Perkins.  The Jets are an absolute mess and will be playing from behind and even though Forte is done, he is still there and will be getting touches limiting Powell a bit.  Gronk is still the easy #1 TE and although Graham has seemed to have gotten over the knee injury and is a solid TE he isn't the difference maker that Gronk is.

I hold tight with what you have.
