Actually, the Ravens took some heat for taking Lewis. He tore an ACL and then lost the starting job to Henry.The Ravens signed free agent Sam Adams the day before that draft. If they hadn't reached that deal, they would have taken Simon at #5 and whatever top RB was left at #10 and we never would have been treated to the Travis Taylor era.
But you can't overlook what a huge factor Adams was in that 2000 Ravens' D. It was the only inspired football of his career.
