I posted this in the FFA a few weeks ago, but I figure it probably belongs in here instead. As each NFL season rolls around, I have a dream (or delusion) of watching a game in every NFL stadium during the regular season. I posted a schedule here last year of what my schedule would be, so I thought I would do it again this year. Of course I quickly realize that I can't because a) I have a job and b) I can't afford it. But if you will allow me to dream for a few minutes, this would be the schedule for the 2006 Magical Football Tour...
THURSDAY SEPT. 7 - Miami at Pittsburgh (8:30 ET)
SUNDAY SEPT. 10 - Buffalo at New England (1 ET)
SUNDAY SEPT. 10 - Indianapolis at New York Giants (8:15 ET)
MONDAY SEPT. 11 - Minnesota at Washington (7 ET)
SUNDAY SEPT. 17 - Buffalo at Miami (1 ET)
MONDAY SEPT. 18 - Pittsburgh at Jacksonville (8:30 ET)
SUNDAY SEPT. 24 - Carolina at Tampa Bay (1 ET)
MONDAY SEPT. 25 - Atlanta at New Orleans (8:30 ET)
SUNDAY OCT. 1 - San Diego at Baltimore (1 ET)
MONDAY OCT. 2 - Green Bay at Philadelphia (8:30 ET)
SUNDAY OCT. 8 - St. Louis at Green Bay (1 ET)
SUNDAY OCT. 15 - Oakland at Denver (8:15 ET)

SUNDAY NOV. 26 - Jacksonville at Buffalo (1 ET)*
THURS. NOV. 30 - Baltimore at Cincinnati (8 ET)
SUNDAY DEC. 3 - Kansas City at Cleveland (1 ET)*
SUNDAY DEC. 10 - Baltimore at Kansas City (1 ET)*
MONDAY DEC. 11 - Chicago at St. Louis (8:30 ET)
SATURDAY DEC. 16 - Dallas at Atlanta (8 ET)
SATURDAY DEC. 23 - Kansas City at Oakland (8 ET)
SUNDAY DEC. 24 - Arizona at San Francisco (4:05 ET)
SUNDAY DEC. 31 - Miami at Indianapolis (1 ET) * +
* - Game could be moved to 8:15 ET
+ - Could go to Cincinnati at Indianapolis on Monday December 18 instead
If you had the time and money, this is definitely a viable schedule as far as travel goes. The toughest Sunday to Monday trips would be Tampa to New Orleans, Denver to Phoenix, and San Diego to Seattle, and none of those would be horrible. If you didn't want to go to the Meadowlands twice, you could see a different game on November 19, or just take that weekend off. Some highlights of the schedule are Pittsburgh on Opening Night, Manning vs. Manning, and McNair returns to Tennessee. One of the quirks of the schedule has you seeing Tampa Bay and Carolina play each other twice.
Maybe one day I'll be able to make this happen.....
