Bobby Carpenter to Cowboys
:goodposting:
don't F with the P1s
Babyarm, brotha'.
babyarm.......corra, snake
Carpenter sounds like a good guy.
Have you guys seen him play? His NFL.com player profile doesn't sound too good especially when 99.9% of the player bios over there sound outstanding.
Carpenter was a very frustrating linebacker to evaluate, because he no doubt has the size, strength, playing speed and athleticism to be a productive all-around linebacker, but he is not one now, and he is unlikely to ever become one. While he tests out like a warrior, his lack of instincts hinder his ability to play up to his off-field workouts -- he is often a beat late moving at the snap and lacks the explosiveness to catch up once he loses a step.

What are the Chiefs looking at? DB? I haven't followed them this offseason.
Most likely DB, but if Lawson is there, he'd be a great pick.(K bell sucks)
Yeah. Jimmy Williams would be good at that spot. Edwards likes db's. But can they pass up Manny. Seems like i said that before.
I'd be stunned if KC does not take Lawson if he's available.
To play DE or Linebacker?
End

Totally unsubstantiated rumor about Justice from a USC friend:

Apparently the reason he was suspended a while back is because he pulled a gun on a Jewish student and told him that he was going to "re-create the Holocaust."

It could be total BS, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Don't know a lot about him. I was just listening to an interview on the radio.

Undersized. If you want that, take Tapp in the 2nd.

I dont think the Pats would take Winston Justice even at 21. If you want to talk about plug and play, that is the Pats offensive line. They did lose Tom Ashworth to the Seahawks but I still dont think they would take him.

I just hope if they want to take Marshall that they would trade back a few picks to someone who does want Justice or one of the RB's.

He has the frame to add some weight. Add 15 lbs and he'll be fine at end.

Now that the Cowboys have selected, I'm on official Reggie McNeal watch for the rest of the day. Hoping he gets picked today, by a team that I want to watch and root for.

This kid has an incredible story. Came to the States when he was 11 from Liberia. Someone easy to root for.
His backstory is amazing...TSN had a great article about him and the horrors of his life thus far. However, that doesnt change the fact that KC reached for a weak, slow DE they could have gotten 10 picks later.

Here goes the Cromartie bashing....
SOD imo.
 When FSU coaches say "best athlete we've had since Deion", you better pay attention.

EXACTLY what the Chargers need. Adding McCree at safety and Cromartie at corner should go a long way to shoring up the pass defense.

Now the Chargers go OL for the rest of the draft....
