Hey Jene, is Kaesviharn considered a good cover guy? That's what I remember anyhow. Would he be a good fit at FS in Dallas? I know they don't want to break the bank on another safety, and he shouldn't be too expensive.

The general in-house (Bengal) feeling on Kaesviharn is that he's a good option against slot receivers as a 3rd corner/safety type. I've never agreed. Both on TV and in-person, there's just way too many times Kaesviharn is out of position and/or a step late. His INT numbers are really, really deceiving. At least three of his 2006 picks were on desperation plays (Roethlisberger late in the 4th quarter in Week 4, Hail Mary pass at halftime against Cleveland, 4th and forever with a 30 point lead late in the 4th against Cleveland). And another (4th quarter against Carolina) was made when he so completely abandoned his primary coverage that the entire Carolina offense was talking sour grapes about it for the following week. He's a valuable role player IMO and if he starts somewhere he'll be a solid enough IDP option, but I think he'll frustrate the fans of his team if he's an every down player.
