Email that all league participants should be receiving shortly:

All owners have now confirmed with preferred email addresses. If you haven't already, please sign into the website so I know that you've gotten the correct password and will be able to begin drafting on Monday. If you've not gotten a league invite, let me know ASAP and I'll resend your password.

Yesterday, I reset everyone's team preferences to send draft status updates to your email address. If you know you'll be checking the website frequently and don't want the extra mail, please reset those preferences.

I will open the drafts around 9ET on Monday morning. If you have the first pick and will not be around your computer Monday morning, please send your predrafted pick to me as MFL will not process a predrafted pick as the first overall pick in the draft.

Timer will be set at 24 hours, but I strongly encourage folks to keep up with this draft by checking the site regularly, predrafting when appropriate and making every effort to find a partner/proxy to make picks if you'll be absent for any length of time. I'd strongly prefer not to replace anyone with an alternate due to multiple skipped picks that hurt the integrity of the leagues.

League scoring systems are available on the website. Rules are contained within your respective league threads in the Forum. Please become familiar with the lineup requirements and scoring before drafting. Be aware that these leagues have flex positions, expanded IDP lineups and will honor whatever positional changes MFL makes to their database before the season begins.

I should be around frequently over the next few days to facilitate any issues with any of the four drafts. I'll be watching email, PM, league chat and message boards and the Forum. Make me aware of any issues with the league or your team as quickly as possible.

Only concern is they might block the site at my work, so I could only make picks in the evening/night.

Also, though the problem may be limited to Yahoo! mail, the draft status updates from two MFL leagues are being sent to my spam box today (and a couple of others with Yahoo, too). If you're using the status updates to notify you when you're on the clock, check your spam folders.

After reviewing the rules, I assume thier will be no waiver moves allowed so we'll have to live with injuries, etc.

I ask because I was hoping not to carry 2 Kickers. Am I correct?

You are correct. What you have after the draft is what you live with.

So we are safe to assume the all the positions for MFL (IDP Surv) will end up matching the rotoworld listings?

I don't think anything is safe (see Justin Smith Aug 2008), but the expectation is that MFL will be using those depth charts again.

im playing this contest the past two year and its one of my highlights

again i hope very much that u guys can keep the great work and open this one and keep the great tradition

i can also say this league are very helpfull toward the coming draft in the 1.5 months ahead

If you're dropping by at least once a week -- and the first training camps begin on Friday so you'd better be -- you won't be left out of what should be a week-long signup and setup process. There will be plenty of reminders about the contest and the new thread for 2010 will stay near the top of the Forum during that time.Still waiting on a formal decision from the bosses, and I'll start a 2010 thread when we hear.
