2010 3 round mock (1 Viewer)

Very nice job. Loved reading this.

If the Bills draft went how you have it I would be happy. Don't know much about the OT you have them selecting but they do need to address the other positions along with the O-line so order should just become BPA from those positions.

1.29 - Minnesota Vikings - Bryan Bulaga OT *DECLARED* - Colt McCoy will be an option here, but I think Minnesota will give Tavaris Jackson a shot to be the future at the position. The fact that they kept Jackson and Rosenfels all season long to me speaks volumes about his future with the franchise. Instead, they draft one of the better OT in this draft from a school that is known to produce good offensive lineman.

29. Minnesota* (12-4) Ricky Sapp DE - Minnesota would be drafting Sapp to play DE oppostite Jered Allen. Ray Edwards is servicable but Ricky Sapp could be great at that position.

28. Minnesota* (12-4) Sean Lee ILB - EJ Henderson has another huge injury and nobody can be sure if he will be back, or even back to form. Minnesota has a small window (assuming Brett returns) and need to protect themselves the MLB position.

Vikings
1. I think it had more to do that nobody is interested in trading for either Jackson or Sage. I am not a Colt McCoy fan so I OK with the OT pick.2. Is servicable the term you use for a player that IMO was the Defensive MVP vs. the Cowboys?

3. I'm OK with your 3rd round pick.

I don't disagree with these players from a talent perspective but some of your comments are off base. I do think the Vikings need to get a QB fairly early this year to groom wheather or not Favre returns.

Bryan Buluga-LT Great potential, played better as sophomore than a junior due to a thyroid condition. Really gets after the run and is a good pass blocker. I think a late first round pick is about right for him at this point. 3 year starter.
FWIW, one of the SF beat writers identified Buluga as someone the 49ers may target in the mid first.

0% chance Buffalo takes another DE in the 1st round, literally 0%. They have monumental needs at OT, DT, & OLB.I could see them taking a shot at Tebow in the 2nd though, if he fell.
I respectfully really disagree. Buffalo finished last in the league in sacks in 2009, and no higher than 29th since 2007. To me, there is no question that they need a pass rush.
The bills will not take a DE this season because they took Aaron Maybin last yr. IF Dez Bryant falls, I have to think he would be the logical choice. If Not I would not be surprised to see Ronaldo McClain or Brandon Spikes at 1.9. They have a young o-line already and they did get better down the stretch of the season. How about this for a wild idea: Sam Bradford to the Bills at 1.9

"1.27 - Cincinatti Bengals - Mardy Gilyard WR - Chad Johnson isnt getting any younger. Lav Coles has proven to be more or less a bust, and the future at the position looks somewhat weak. The Bengals have a supreme talent at QB and without a weapon oppostite Ocho Cinco, its going to waste. Gilyard is a guy who should be able to create seperation from corner backs and provide Palmer with another dynamic weapon as well as help out in the return game. A Local star, Gilyard will be a favorite of the fans. "

As a bengal Fan, I hope this is correct!!!! Caldwell is better out of the slot and the bengals need to cut L. Coles.

The return game is something the Bengals need to get better in, they do not have that explosive=electrifying type of player.

And to think the Bengals passed on DeSean Jackson for Jerome Simpson............. :pokey:

I actually don't think Bradford gets past the Bills at 1.9. If he falls that far then he has to be the pick for them.

First off, great job on the mock and its better than anything I could possibly come up with. But as a Jaguars fan I have a couple of comments I'd like to make. One of the primary needs of the Jags is to develop a better pass rush, they were at the bottom end of sacks this past year and couldn't put any pressure on the opposing QB. You've got them selecting a DE in the first round which I think is the way they'll go. But I don't think they will go offense in the 3rd round and certainly not with a TE. They already have Mercedes Lewis, Zack Miller, and Ernest Wilford at TE. They may have to resign Lewis or Wilford this offseason but I don't see them letting both of them go which would force them to address that position in the draft. In the 3rd round I think they'll pick defence again.

The other comment I wanted to address was the comment made by someone that they didn't think Tebow would last beyond the Jags in the first round. I don't think the GM Gene Smith is going to draft Tebow in the first round knowing that his team needs to draft defence in the draft. The only way I see the Jags taking Tebow is if the owner of the team steps in and makes Smith draft Tebow, which I think would be a mistake. I could see the Jags taking Tebow in the 2nd round, but they don't have a pick in the 2nd round. I don't think Tebow will be there in the 3rd round for the Jags, so I don't see Tebow in a Jags uniform.

Impressive work, certainly better than I could do. That being said, there is absolutely no way Dallas drafts an OLB in the first round. Spencer was dominating this year, and should only improve since it was his first year starting. They also have a few young guys that provide quality depth at that spot.I would say OT, G and then either ILB or WR will be the first 3 picks. I'm really hoping Jerry ends his streak of trading down and actually trades up since quality is more important than quantity with this team.
While I wouldn't rule out OLB or WR I am not sure either are a position the team would take unless PBA forced their hand. Spencer and Ware are in their prime at OLB and they drafted some depth. They will not be cutting Roy and have hopes for Ogletree while Crayton is a fine WR3. They should go OL, CB, or DL early.

That would be the best case scenario if Chefs ended up with those early draft picks... I couldnt think of a better draft for them
I can't imagine they pass up a franchise LT at this point as you can get solid safeties and receivers later in the draft. They could use another DL although they spent way too much there already. They could use safeties and linebackers. They need another WR and TE. They need a lot of OL help. They could use a 2nd RB.

Why do I see so many NFL Mocks have Dallas picking Taylor Mays in the 1st?
Possibly because Sensabaugh is a RFA and not well known? I think he did well this year and was definitely an upgrade of Roy Williams and Keith Davis. Both of Dallas' safeties are solid, but not elite and there's always room for improvement.I'm not to happy with what I hear about Mays from USC fans, almost all of them think he's overrated and he sounds like a Roy Williams clone. Pass.
Between Sensenbaugh, incumbents, and last year's draft class I don't see safety as anything even remotely close to a day 1 draft need.
