2010 MONSTER year for passing stats (1 Viewer)

All five could go for 4500+ yds and 30-35 TDs. And I can see scenarios where some of these teams exceed 40 passing TDs. Plus there's NE, Hou, Min, NYG, and some sleepers like Bal, Cin, Chi and Phi that will push for that yardage if not the TDs.

It's a deep year for passing stats across the QBs and other skill positions of these teams. Especially considering this list doesn't include Larry Fitzgerald or Calvin Johnson.

:( WR's stats are going to be off the charts this season!

Just an FYI that historically after a monster statistical year in QB production the huge majority of time the collective numbers go down not up.

Good point. Especially since two of the top passing offenses are coming off a SB appearance and how that usually leads to a decline in production the following season as well. A lot of factors lead me to believe that this year won't be nearly as prevalent in terms of passing offense.

Just to be a contrarian - Arizona and Pittsburgh both figure to pass less and do it less effectively this year. Philadelphia will be using the largely unproven Kolb instead of McNabb - I'd say they are also likely due for a drop in their stats. The Giants would certainly like to run more effectively than they did last year which could mean Eli's stats drop despite the young talented WRs. If Favre does not return (admitedly that seems unlikely) the Vikings stats would take a big hit. Like every year, there will be some pluses and also some minuses.
