Seems a little steep for what I've been seeing Moreno pull, but as a Rice owner - NO WAY IN HELL do I do this deal. I don't believe there is a lot of value in the 1.04, the 1.10 or Moreno and Chad is solid if very inconsistent and not young. I'll keep Rice unless it involves Fitz/Calvin/Peterson/MJD.

In non ppr like that i would do that deal in a heart beat. Rice is easily replaced in non ppr

I would say all of those look pretty good and even. I think my favorite is the trade #2 team B getting MSW and the 1.03 + 1.09. Dez/Spiller/Matthews and Bradford/Benn/Dwyer/Thomas

Easily? :hot:
Yeah, that stood out to me too. I mean, the replacement level in non-PPR is a bit easier than that in PPR, but it's not tremendous...

Depends on the League size too.

You must be joking. Non-PPR he's even more valuable.

Not only do i expect Rice's numbers to go down this year i would be surprised if he has more than 45 recptions. Td's will be shared with maghee Moreno numbers go up and @ 1.04 i get one of the top 3 RB draft prospect and package the 1.10 and ocho for a young gun like Harvin or Nicks but hey that's just me. If we all had the same opinions and value of players it would be a boring game eh?

Why would you be surprised by the above? Is there ANY indication of the above or does it just "feel right" to you?

Sorry, but I had Rice pegged as a future star when he was still at Rutgers. You can pry him from my cold, dead hand. I would take 5 RBs from the '08 draft before I'd take the best one from the '09 draft and it's not really close. If it were a top 3 pick, it'd soften the blow but I see a significant step down after the top 2 picks and another step down after the 3rd. Maybe you are one that rates Best as high as Spiller/Matthews or D.Thomas as high as Dez but to get Rice from most owners it would take much more.

Well with the addition of bouldin and and a te via the draft i feel the # of passes to go around will have to come from somewhere. Rice had 78 i think last year. Amazing number. Rice, led the ravens in receptions i think. Mark Clayton had 34 Bouldin will take his spot i believe he will get his 75+ receptions Mason will get his, Heap or other tight end get 40+ . The only spot i see going down is ray rice. I am not down on rice @ all just think people are going to be dissapointed if they expect 78 recptions and 700 yards receiving this year. And honestly without those receptions and yards i can plug a number of backs in to replace his numbers alot cheaper and upgrade other areas and add depth. Now if my team already had depth and a good core probably would not trade him.

You can "plug in" a bunch of guys that can rush for 1339 yds and 7 TDs to go along with the bonus of his reception #'s? You're pretty good at "plugging in" since only 5 guys in the NFL rushed for more yards than Rice last year.

Ryan Grant, Moreno(this year), Benson, greene, wells, i believe will all put up comparable stats in rushing. The receptions are great i just dont believe they will be there again. How many do you think he has this year?

Love how Jamaal Charles is almost listed as a throw in for this deal. Absolutly brutal trade for the team getting Brown and Boldin. Charles alone is worth more than those 2 guys

:banned: The beauty of having those two WRs is you don't need a stud to man the WR3 spot.

2 QB league with 6 pts per TD

Mark Sanchez for

Mark Clayton, 1.15(this pick is selected before the NFL draft) and 2 late 2011 1st. Probably somewhere between 1.10 and 1.16 for both.

I'd rather have a bunch of holes than a bunch of 2nd rate players :lmao: [And I happen to really like Forsett. I just don't believe he'll ever get a large enough load to be consistently relevant for a long period.......much like Bradshaw]If he wanted a bunch of scraps, he should dealt Rivers/1.01 1-by-1.

12-team PPR, start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1RB/WR/TE

gave R Moss/2.01/Robiskie for Smiff/Lynch

gave 2.03 for M Bush

gave 2.06 for L Evans

gave 2.07 for K Kolb

Had a bunch of 2nd rounders from in-season trades.

Team A - gives Knowshon Moreno and Kevin Ogletree

Team B - gives Devin Thomas, 2010 1.10 pick, and a 2011 1st rd pick

Then the same Team A in above trade - gives Brent Celek, 2010 1.05 pick, 2010 2.01 pick, and 2010 2.02 pick

different team B gives - DeAngelo Williams, 2010 2.07 pick, and 2010 3.08 pick

How early will that 2011 1st be? If it's not a Top 3 pick I think Team A got taken in Trade #1.

Team A Gives: Robert Meachem, 2011 1st (likely between 1.07-1.12), 2010 4.02Team B Gives: Felix Jones
Whoa, someone really likes Felix Jones... I'm wary of him myself with his injury prone-ness.
That was me, and I do love Felix. I get the injury prone stuff but I think he breaks through this year with a top 10 season. Also, that team was absolutely loaded at WR, with a hole at RB, so I felt it was a good move for me.

The team that gave the 2011 1st had the 3rd best record in the league last year.

Minor trade but I gave a 2.12 rookie pick for Larry Johnson. This is a 12 team PPR and my team is the defending champion.

Starting RB's are now

ADP

CJ3

Larry Johnson

Brian Westbrook

Derrick Ward

Lex Hillard

QB Peyton Manning, Kolb

WR's

Steve Smith

Donald Driver

TO

Josh Morgan

James Jones

Robert Meecham

Mario Mannigham

TE

Gates

I felt it was a low risk trade that could yield a viable #3 RB if Johnson wins the job (which I believe he will).

Need to work on getting another WR though...and add some more depth at RB

* Team B gets Andre Johnson, WR (HOU), Brett Favre, QB (MIN)

i've been trying for weeks to get AJ from this guy...ugh.

so you like the team getting colston and the 1.3? cause that seems a bit cheap to me for AJ. no?
