This was just accepted in my league. 12 team ppr dynasty.* Team A gets Carnell Williams, RB (TB), Marques Colston, WR(NO); 2010 1st round pick #3 (3rd overall)* Team B gets Andre Johnson, WR (HOU), Brett Favre, QB (MIN)i've been trying for weeks to get AJ from this guy...ugh.

Expensive I must say. Colston and 1.3....love that side.

so you like the team getting colston and the 1.3? cause that seems a bit cheap to me for AJ. no?

AJ is gettin a bit near theold age dropoff, and 1.3 could be Bryant. Colston/Bryant for AJ...I might do that as the AJ owner if I didn't have anything else. Chance to get a STUD and then some IMO

i can see Dez slipping to 1.2 in that league, but only because the owner with 1.1 took Forte first overall in the startup last year. so who knows what he's gonna do. but i don't see Dez moving to 1.3. I agree no way Dez is there at 1.03 in a ppr. You are looking at Mathews/Spiller at that spot. I don't much care for Spiller myself. However, the 1.03 is a valuable trade commodity in its own right so you could always move that seperately. I would probably take Colston and the 1.03 unless my team was a favorite to win it all in the next year or two.

the only thing the team giving up AJ is favored for is claiming a top 3 draft pick in 2011. and maybe 2012.

Yeah I like the team getting 1.3 and Colston. You have the potential of a top 10 WR coupled with either Dez Bryant who IMO is a freak or a top rookie RB...solid trade.AJ side is also fine...your getting argubly the #1 WR. I just thought the 1.3 was a decent premium in this years rookie crop. If it were say a 1.6 - 1.12 and Colston then the balance tips to the AJ side.....but who knows....I was drafting Chris Johnson at 1.6-1.8 in every draft that I had that slot 2 years ago so you never know with rookie picks.

Uh, AJ is not a running back. AJ is 28, the dropoff for WRs doesn't typically happen until the age of 34 or 35. He's got a long career of elite production still in front of him, he's just getting started.And Colston is only two years younger...

No, this is for the dead one. We have to cut a player to add a draft pick so no big deal. As I stated, this is a start 2 QB league as well and I just want to load up for bear at QB. I have Manning locking down the QB1 spot. If I took this, I'd have Cutler, Flacco, and Palmer...hoping one really steps up.
