WOW!!!!PT>Bowe>Crabtree IMHOThis was a robberyTeam A - Crabtree Team B - Pierre Thomas, Bowe
I'd take the Crabtree side myself. I don't think PT ever graduates to big time feature back, nor do I think Bowe ever rebounds to the kind of numbers he has put up in the past. Thats also considering I am not nearly as high on Crabtree as some others are.WOW!!!!PT>Bowe>Crabtree IMHOThis was a robberyTeam A - Crabtree Team B - Pierre Thomas, Bowe
In full disclosure, I was one of the teams involved in trade. This is a little clearer when you see the teams rosters though..Team A (got Crabtree) - Stacked, CJ,MJD and Rice ahead of PT, also has Calvin Johnson, Wayne and Vincent Jackson as WR'sTeam B (got PT and Bowe) - Harrison/Forte/Bradshaw at RB and Crabtree/Harvin/Meachum at WRWOW!!!!PT>Bowe>Crabtree IMHOThis was a robberyTeam A - Crabtree Team B - Pierre Thomas, Bowe
While I don't know whether PT graduates for lack of a better term he's still a quality RB2/3 with huge upside simply due to the offense he's in. You also talk about Bowe bouncing back to what he once was but I expect a bounce to much more... your still talking about a guy who is only entering year 4 of his career.... I guess it's also relavent to the type of league as well as, b/c I think Bowe has greater value in TD heavier leagues as he is a very big target near the endzone.I'd take the Crabtree side myself. PT>Bowe>Crabtree IMHO
This was a robbery
While you may be right about what you just wrote about Bowe and PT, PT is not getting drafted anywhere close to Bowe in startups and he's even farther from Crabtree. I probably side with the PT/Bowe side here as well, but PT>Bowe>Crabtree seems backwards based on market value. While I don't know whether PT graduates for lack of a better term he's still a quality RB2/3 with huge upside simply due to the offense he's in. Just b/c the market says Crabtree is value is high doesn't mean his matching performance will follow suit... I thought not getting sucked into what's new and trendy was what seperated the sharks from the fish... while I like Crabtree alot, I don't see the next AJ or Fitz when I look at him... I believe he's overvalued right now due to being the newest flashy car on the lot.... Crabtree MAY out preform Bowe this year but I don't think you'd get much better than 50/50 odds on who's right about that but to add PT is just rediculous, HE SHOULD NOT BE A THROW IN..... that said the guy who made the trade was stacked and likely doesn't dress any of the players involved, he just wanted a different lotto ticket after Bowe had a down year as far as I could see....While you may be right about what you just wrote about Bowe and PT, PT is not getting drafted anywhere close to Bowe in startups and he's even farther from Crabtree. Cross-sport trade? Nice deal if he gets past his knee problems. This one went down recently in a 12 team, keep 12..Chris Snelling
Glad to be the recipient of this one. Offered to me as well ... by I must say a very good owner in numerous dynasty leagues. He must have some inside info. Gotta say it took me a little time to accept as I had to scroll through the sites to make sure Witten didn't retire! What the ?Wowzahs, wish I'd been in on this one...12 team dynasty: .5 ppr WR/TE only-------------------------------------------------TeamA gave up Doucet, Early ARI WR;Witten, Jason DAL TE; Year 2010 Draft Pick 2.07TeamB gave up Thomas, Devin WAS WR

How the hell do you value a defense? Guess i've never thought about it.Guess I'd take the Colston side, but it's pretty even.Team A gets:Rice, Sidney MIN WRYear 2010 Draft Pick 2.10Team B gets:Colston, Marques NOS WRVikings, Minnesota MIN Def

I'll take the Charles side, but I'm a huge backer. And it might be a year before that deal pays off.12 team PPR dynastyTeam A gives Jamaal Charles, Jason WittenTeam B gives Steven Jackson, Dustin Keller
Today:Traded: Stafford, Doucet, 2010 Rookie Draft Pick 2.8For: Ronnie Brown and Ricky WilliamsHaving a good offseason so far...Co-own team in MOXFFL VI with Couch Potato. 14 teams, start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR/TE, 2 Flex, 1 K, 1 D/ST. No PPR.Back in January:Traded: Grant, Moreno, Sims-Walker, and Winslow (No TE required)For: Chris Johnson, Henne, and BoldinToday:Traded: Boldin, Meachem, EdelmanFor: Vincent Jackson, Ogletree, Stroughter

Just flipped Witten for a 2011 1st round pick. Devin Thomas really paying off for me!Have Winslow and Heath Miller, so not sure why I was offered Witten in the first place. Traded Witten to a team that picks 1st this year; but league is so even, this could easily have been a playoff team. Most likely a middle of the pack team.Wow....... unbelievable.Glad to be the recipient of this one. Offered to me as well ... by I must say a very good owner in numerous dynasty leagues. No chance I trade Witten for a mid 2011 1st. You'd have been better served trading Winslow. The first trade was great for you. This one was not.FF King said:Just flipped Witten for a 2011 1st round pick. Best way to improve a cellar dweller is to find owners that will give you deals like those.phthalatemagic said:Adopted a horrible team, IDP and PPR.Made this move prior today's R-burger announcement and the McNabb trade:Gave:KolbGot:R-burger2011 2nd roundAlso made this:Gavearren McFaddenGot:1.082011 2nd roundLance LongIt's going to take a great deal of work to get this team functional. I'm the one who traded for Devin Thomas. With J Finley and J Cook already in tow, I felt this was the time to move Witten. Thomas finally started to "get it" last year and now has McNabb throwing him the ball. A good match IMO. I like Doucet's upside, but knew he was good trade bait. Some may say "Wow....unbelievable", but that's fine, because I do OKFF King said:Just flipped Witten for a 2011 1st round pick. Who knows, I may just be saying WOW at Thomas in 2010.Team B in a landslide. Kolb is not worth MSW on his own IMO. Future 1st and 2nds are gravy.10 team Non-PPR
Team A gets: Kolb, Chester Taylor, Malcolm Kelly, 2011 3rd and 5th Rd rookie picks (Forte owner)
Team B gets: Orton, Leon, Albert Young, D Butler, MSW, 2011 1st and 2nd Rd rookie picks (ADP owner)
I don't feel like I need a margin for error. I guarantee you that I won't be able to get Thomas for that in late October.I see no problem in getting the player you wanted...just seems like for what you paid he has to be top 20 or so WR...not much room for error
Well at least this falls in line with your thinking that people should way overpay for your Jared Cook. Apparently you have the same love for Devin Thomas.I'm the one who traded for Devin Thomas. Wow. Not that the picks matter much, but B got a nice return for caddy.Team A gets: James Jones / Early Doucet / 2010 4th round pick #7 (43d Overall) / 2010 3rd round pick #12 (36th overall)Team B gets: Carnell Williams

I would have preferred Davis to Holmes even before Santonio's latest incidents. Now its not even close, getting the 2.3 thrown in is just icing on the cake.12 Team, PPRGave - S. HolmesGot - V. Davis & Rookie pick 2,03

guess maybe it depends on need. but i don't see it as a BIG victory. maybe i'm undervaluing Cotchery then. hell, Ryan for that matter.i would say Team B got a little big more, but nothing big.Team B wins that BIG.....Team A: traded Jennings, 2.12Team B: traded Ryan, Cotchery, 2.6 and 2.10
