2010 QB Class (1 Viewer)

How would this new crop of QBs compare to QBs that came out last year?

Personally they'd fair poorly, I'd take stafford and sanchez over any of the guys coming out this year and IMO only bradford is worthy of being a top fifteen pick.

I would call it a tie.

Bradford > Stafford(Bradford would have no doubt gone 1.1 last year had he come out. The injury may have hurt his draft stock, but it didnt make him a worse football player.

Sanchez = Claussen(Im sure many will argue this, but the only reason is because we already got to see Sanchez in the NFL. But going into the draft, i rank both equally)

Freeman > Tebow(Not a big fan of Freeman going into that draft, but i also think Tebow should play FB)

I do like the guys after the top 3 more this year than last.

I also agree with way worse

Bradford was found out in the championship game last year and would not have the arm strength that Stafford had and I think the intangibles that Sanchez brought. I think he will go higher this year than last and why he did not come out in the end. And I still think last year was not as good as the Ryan/Flacco class either.

This one is well behind

Stafford much better than anybody in this year's class.

I'd put Sanchez and Bradford in a similar tier.

Personally not a fan of Clausen.

It's silly to base your opinion of a player on one game. Both Bradford and Stafford played Florida two years ago:Bradford - 26 of 41 for 256 with 2 TDs and 2 INTs

Stafford - 18 of 33 for 265 with 0 TDs and 3 INTs

Neither were "found out."

I don't see a franchise QB in this years draft and there were arguably 2 in last years. That alone makes this class worse.

It's amazing how far Bradford's stock has fallen on this board while he was out. Now Stafford is better than Bradford? Are you kidding? If they were in the same NFL draft and Bradford was completely healthy, there is a zero percent chance that Stafford would go ahead of Bradford.

This is false.Stafford is and always has been better than Bradford. The only argument last year was who was 2nd best, Bradford or Sanchez and I doubt Bradford would have been taken before him either.

I like Bradford the most coming out of college but Stafford showed us something last year...suprrised me a bit.

I think last year was deeper, but like Bradford the most...close call.

On the offensive-side of the ball, I think the 2010 class overall is pretty weak (not just QB). Heck, I think QB is stronger than WR or TE this year. RBs aren't too bad. OL are ok, but don't seem AS good as in the past.

I was never a Stafford fan. After watching him last year with a horrible team I would take him over any of the QBs last year and this year. Stafford may have the strongest arm in the NFL. If he improves his decision making he will be a star.

Sanchez proved his grit and will do well in the Jets system. I would take him over this years crop as well.

Will you change your mind again if Bradford and/or Clausen get some playing time next year and show you something you don't expect?

I don't know, I remember everyone saying last year that Bradford would've been the first QB taken had he come out. :excited:

That was in early January (08) which is the beginning of the draft season. Bradford was the hot commodity at the time so everyone had him rated higher than Stafford and Sanchez. Both Stafford and Sanchez could have passed Bradford once scouts had a chance to break down tape, combines, pro days, interviews etc.Bradford still could have gone first but we'll never know.

I thought the SP was smarter than this. I would think it would be obvious to everyone that Bradford is better than Stafford and Sanchez combined. I would also take Clausen over Stafford and Sanchez.

Of course, but Bradford reminds me a Chad Pennington type..heady QB with a weak arm. I have watched Clausen a number of times..never looked at him as a high first rd pick. I was looking forward to the combines but is Clausen going to attend?

Bradford is more athletic than Pennington and he has a better arm.Pennington used to a be a pretty decent QB too.
