Birdie, I don't know if this changes anything for you, but this upcoming Saturday is August FOURTEENTH, not 17......and this is a disappointing way to go out for you, man...why don't you see if anyone can switch with you? I would, but I'm already in League 7.Can anyone swap out with this guy? He earned his 'Golden Ticket'...it would be a shame if he wasn't able to participate...I'm under the impression he was a late invite, and if that's the case, it's not his fault that his options were limited to the one League that he's not available for.If all else fails, stay close to the board when the Drafts are about to go off...you might get a PM asking you to stand in for a last-second no show, in which case you'd still be able to participate!Good luck, man. Hope things work out for you.

If nothing could be done to help out birdie in another draft. I would be happy to be a replacement. I am following these drafts and yearning to be a part of it. High caliber stuff here. I tried my hardest to be witty on the captions, fortune cookie, didn't do the tattoo thing, and pick me threads, seems I can't compete in those things like I can in fantasy football.

Also, ESPN only starts on the hour, so the start-time was moved to 8:00 PM Eastern.

Is this still the draft order? It's not set up in the league link this way right now.
I think some of us would also like some procedural information......like how long are bids opened after someone is nominated, etc.....trying to get an idea of how long this takes, overall and per player announced, etc.....I have seen how some auctions are done and they can be very different.......
are bids in $1 increments, etc......
like say CJ gets nominated first with an opening bid, how long after the last bid before bidding is closed....or is there just a timer for each player, etc...

Me was thining this was a slow auction since this is Aug 11th...oh well...wish I knew this in advance. Clayton said one night, how long do these rapid fire auctions actually last? 2 hrs? 4 hrs? Need to know ASAP.

Bids are in $1 increments.A player is nominated and bid upon. If there are no bids for a few seconds (can't remember how long exactly), then the player is awarded to the highest bidder and the next player is nominated.I believe past Survivor League auctions have lasted right at 4 hours.Ysatnaf_Gnik said:
