Thanks to Domination and restless natives for taking PM's and making my picks for me, respectively.

Just an FYI, it's not so much internet access as it is the fact that my laptop caught a cold and is giving me fits. Still in the process of cleaning it up a little bit. Hopefully things go well this afternoon and I won't have any issues moving forward.

A third of a round a day isn't going to cut it. We'll be drafting until April at this rate. We can either pick up the pace or i can cut all the clocks across the board in half to jump start this baby.

Just an idea, but perhaps after round 10 or so, every team makes a pick each day, FCFS style? Start at 9 or whenever, we'd be done 10 days after we start that portion.

Silly me. But.. what's the rush? If it takes a longer to complete this *and* provides entertainment, I'm fine with that. IMO, the pace should be enjoyable, not hurried. :football:

I'm not in a big rush but if others are like me, I came into this assuming it would be closer to 1 month's worth of time. I'll be hitting some vacation and stuff before this is over at this rate.

Yup...this is the exact issue. People sign-up expecting a month commitment. Plus, the longer we draw it out, the more people lose interest and the less they check in.
 
How is it that I timed out? I never got a PM saying I was up.

Let's try to ctick to the rules guys. I checked in twice and didn't have a PM saying I was up.

not gonna get into a pissin match but it is not really a "rule" that you have to be pm'd......it was just asked as more of a courtesy.....nobody should be relying on a pm......it should be kind of a given that if you sign up for one of these things, you agree to be a little proactive and check in fairly often.....if you can't, either you pm a list to someone, or maybe it's just nothing something you should sign up to do.....there is no penalty for not pm'ing, but there is for not even checking in for over 8 hours when it is your turn.....You guys know the drill. Please PM picks if you won't be able to stop in for an extended period of time. Please PM "next" and "on deck" to those that pick after you. I agree completely. But there are some days where you cannot be around and today was one of those days ... I had an all day meeting. But what I have done in the past is leave a meeting with the only reason being to rush back to my office and make a pick. I also fail to understand how it is a "given" that you PM lists, but it isn't a "given" that you send a PM to let people know when they are up.I was checking my blackberry constantly throughout the day to bolt my meeting and make my pick. Unfortunately the "courtesy" was not given.

I've been in these for years and know the drill and I don't sign up unless I can be an active player. I didn't lose out, since I wasn't interested in TJ anyway.

Vent over ... moving along.
