It's defensible at least. It's obvious that Team B took advantage of the situation and grabbed Team A by the balls - but to be completely honest take away the second rounder and it's not all that bad (that's how far Williams' value has fallen).16 team 0.5 PPRThe sort of trade that as Commish I hate to process.Team A gaveMatt MooreDeangelo Wiliams2nd4thTeam B gaveAlex SmithI #### you not.Team A didn't have a QB this week as they are all on bye but come on.
Take it and run. He'll never be a guy that you'll start and perhaps you hit the lottery on one of the picks.Anyone got any idea of a dynasty value for Brandon Gibson, WR for STL? Been offered a late 2nd & late 3rd next year for him and am considering pulling the trigger. Thought he'd have a decent shot at good numbers this year, especially when Amendola went down, but he seems to just not have 'it'. With Clayton coming back after the bye, I think targets get even more slim. Anyone have any advice here? Would be much appreciated>

His owner has Rodgers and Jamal Charles, so was looking to move Cam for a RB.Roster is now:QB: Newton, Freeman, Roethlisberger, Campbell, Tebow (so you can see why I wanted Cam)RB: Peterson, Wells, Lynch, Harrison, Keiland Williams, Gerhart, DixonWR: Fitzgerald, Green, Marshall, Avant, Simpson, V. I don't think you can veto because Witten is a terrific player, but I think most, if not all, would agree that the AJ Green side got a nice deal. This is one of those rare trades in dynasty that i would consider vetoTwo miles even.Green side by a mileTeam A gets AJ Green and Jared CookTeam B gets Jason Witten and Brian Hartline

Interesting. I took both Williams and LeShoure in one league and couldn't get anything close to this value.A gave: Ray Rice/BoldinC gave: Leshoure/Ry Williams/2012 1st (team is 4-1 currently)

So a really bad team trades it's first round pick next season for a good team's first round pick in 2013?Why?20 team non ppr leagueGave: Brent Celek, 2013 1st, 2013 3rd (my team is pretty stacked so I expect the first to be in the 15-20 range)Got: 2012 first from the team that has had the worst record in the league the last two years and is off to a 1-3 start.
These kind of trades crack me up. My guess is that Team A thinks it's rebuilding, but it's actually giving away one of the best young RBs in the league for a bunch of question marks that aren't great bets to pan out.Interesting. Wow, so whoever has Newton (assuming they are strong at the standard QB position) must be killing it in your league, at least this year, huh? That's like a one-team-only QB-flex play right there. My league is a bit different, in that we have to start one rookie along with a more standard 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, and kicker. We have 30 players on the roster, but here were my main guys:QB - Bradford and A. Smith (had Manning, kind of stuck here)RB - McCoy, F. Jackson, Gore, LynchWR - Calvin, Bowe, Gaffney, Doucet, Ford, Ocho, Simpson, BennTE - Graham and H. MillerK - who caresRookie - D. Carter, Vereen, and V. BrownWe have contracts, so here's the trade: Gore (2 years left), Miller (1), and a 3rd round pick for Andy Dalton (4), Greg Olsen (1), and Branch (1)This give me a rookie, backup TE, and potential #3 WR in exchange for Gore, who, while good, was my #3 RB. BTW, the other team is 2-3 and low in points and really only has Forte at RB. So now he'll have Forte and Gore going into next season.

This trade certainly puzzled me. When I saw it, I figured the 1st must have be for a sure fire top 1-2 pick. Surprised to see it was for a VERY competitive team.So I'm guessing A is angling his team to get 1.1. Are there other teams so bad in the league he had do give up Rice though? That Rice trade is ugly no matter how bad you want that 1.1.Several deals went down yesterday in HyperActive 1A gave: McGahee/FloydB gave: McCluster/LaFellA gave: Ray Rice/BoldinC gave: Leshoure/Ry Williams/2012 1st (team is 4-1 currently)A gave: Roddy WhiteD gave: McMichael/2012 1st (team is 2-3)/2013 1stC gave: Jordy NelsonD gave: DaltonA gave: Eli ManningD gave: Ponder/2012 2ndA is 2-3, but selling piecesC and D are both 4-1 and have strong teams

ConnSKINS26-Basically. The team that drafted Newton (at #6, after Ingram, Green, Williams, Thomas, and Jones) also has Stafford and is 4-1 after going 5-8 last season. He's 2nd in scoring (about 70 points behind the top team and just a few points ahead of #3 and #4) even though he's had some RB injuries and has no real WR2 after Fitzgerald. Still, being able to start Stafford and Newton every week is a huge advantage and, given that he also has S. Jackson, Mathews, Greene, and Sproles, if he has a WR or two step up (out of Moss, Avant, Ward, and L. Moore) and gets anything out of Winslow, he'll be really tough to beat.BTW, we created this rule (I helped the commish for the league), along with having contract lengths, in order to promote quick turnarounds so that we'd have no hopeless teams. So far it's doing okay, but there's still a good amount of similarity in the standings outside of that one team with Newton.Wow, so whoever has Newton (assuming they are strong at the standard QB position) must be killing it in your league, at least this year, huh?
