2011 offseason dynasty trades (1 Viewer)

14tm PPR Q/R/R/W/W/T/FGave:SchaubKeller2.053.054.05Got:RomoWitten
Romo, Witten
Yep by a large margin. Not sure what team B was thinking.
Older team trying to rebuild. Keller and Schaub are the younger players and he gets a few picks to try to hit on. I would be lying if I said wouldn't have given more and am not very happy with my side. But team B is a good owner, so I am interested to see what he does the rest of the off-season.

1.02 for Maclin.

I swapped the pick - was planning on taking Julio Jones.

Maclin is 22, in a top-5 passing offense, and has already put up two excellent seasons - I look at him as a low-risk WR going forward.

Jones is 21, could go somewhere good, could end up in a real bad spot. Obviously, we have all seen "elite talents" fall before - Charles Rogers? :) I feel Jones has better upside, but more risk.

I would easily make that swap as well. Maclin also has a first round pedigree, has already shown he can play at this level and is on studly offense. A lot less risk.

That's quite a way in to the future. No way I'd do that.

Now have the 1.01 and every pick from 1.08 to 2.01 except 1.10

decent value for Knox (bout as good as you are going to do), but I think I'd still keep him if that's the rate. None of the rookies drafted in that range are guaranteed anything. Knox could improve with another year of experience under his belt, better understanding of Martz offense, and improved chemistry with Cutler.

I agree. I just don't see the benefit of giving up something that is so valuable for this coming season for something I need to sit on for two years. Even if you didn't like Green or Ingrin, I'm sure some one in your league does amnd you could get more immediate help. Some people take the dynasty aspect to the extreme.

pretty good job of getting the #1 without giving up much, 24 is just icing on cake
Depends on the teams. I know every year is different and the talent doesn't look as deep this year, but go back just a couple season ago and picks 8-16 could have netted you a combination of the following players...Ray Rice, Chris Johnson, J.Charles, M.Ryan, J.Flacco, Des Jackson, so if he's throwing darts maybe he'll hit something...Edit, I'd rather have the 1.1

I liked Knox for the reasons you enumerated, but I have the 1.01, Dez, Bowe and Thomas... so i felt i could move him to get a couple decent Rookie Lottery Tickets (need RB2 badly)

Memphis

gave up:

McFadden, Darren OAK RB

Year 2012 Round 2 Draft Pick from Memphis

Johnsons Beach

gave up:

Amendola, Danny STL WR

Jones, James GBP WR

Wayne, Reggie IND WR

Year 2012 Round 4 Draft Pick from Johnsons Beach

I traded rookie picks #5, #24 and #37 for #3 and some late picks.

With 1.02 already in hand, this gets me 2 of Jones, Green and Ingram. My guess is I'll get the two WRs, but I'll be happy either way.

I traded Schaub, '12 1st and 2nd rouders for Rivers. I have a top 3 team on paper so hopefully that devalues those picks come draft time.

Houston Texans gave up:

Year 2011 Round 4 Draft Pick from San Francisco 49ers

Oakland Raiders gave up:

Johnson, Jeremiah DEN RB

We'll see how this works out in Z56. Pick is 4.01 for the upcoming rookie draft.

I figured that with Denver not drafting a RB, this is at least as good a bet as whatever I was gonna get with a the 37th rookie pick. I'm down to only one pick in the draft...the 36th one haha. But you can never have too many RB tickets. Hopefully one of mine hits it and I can package one with Roddy for Calvin. I don't own him anywhere and would love to invest in Detroit somehow.

12 Team PPR

Gave:

Maclin

2.11

Got:

Turner

Denario Alexander

2.02

My rb were laughable: scott, ivory, r. Jennings (inherited a very old rb crew that I took over last year)

gave S Greene RB NYJ, J Maclin WR PHI, 1:1 rookie

got C Johnson RB TEN, 1:5 rookie

alot to give, but it really helped my team

Former AP owner already owns Chris Johnson, LeSean McCoy and Jahvid Best (and Gerhart and Goodson too), and he wanted to get rid of Brandon Marshall headache. No remorse, yet.

Just because he has other great players doesn't mean you undersell AP but maybe it turns out good for him. You never know and I guess I've seen worse.
