UnbelievableI like the N there, Holmes is a beast14 team leagueTeam C gives WR Santonio HolmesTeam N gives 1.09 (became RB Helu) and 4.10

Pretty close considering league specifics.16 team .5/1/1.5 ppr start 1-2 RBs/3 WR/1-2 TEsSteve Johnson and Dustin Kellerfor1.02 (Mark Ingram) and the 1.12 (hasnt picked yet)
Much rather have 1.2. I think the difference there is much bigger than the difference between Keller and a top 2 rookie TE you could get at 1.12 or even a sleeper like Housler you could get in the 2nd.Pretty close considering league specifics.16 team .5/1/1.5 ppr start 1-2 RBs/3 WR/1-2 TEsSteve Johnson and Dustin Kellerfor1.02 (Mark Ingram) and the 1.12 (hasnt picked yet)

This is a perfect example of leagues valuing players differently. I had those two guys and shopped them all offseason. Couldn't get much of a bite on either. That's a vetoable trade right there IMO. There is absolutely no justification, present or future, for that trade. I'd do some homework to make sure there isn't collusion going on.Somone call 911 because someone in my leaegue just got *****Puerto Rico gave up:Year 2012 Round 1 Draft Pick from Puerto Rico (last year he was 3rd worst team likely top 4 pick next year)Year 2012 Round 2 Draft Pick from Las Vegas (last year he was 5th worst team likely top 18 pick next year)Year 2011 Draft Pick 4.03Year 2011 Draft Pick 5.09Northern California gave up:Karim, Deji JAC RB

I'd have the guy getting Karim consult with a neurologist. He clearly sustained a head injury or some type of encephalopathy. That's as dumb of a trade as I've ever heard. Since I'm team A in these trades I'll try to explain my thinking. This dynasty league is entering its 3rd season. The core of my team since the league started has been Rodgers, Turner, Bradshaw/Jacobs, Wayne, Sims-Walker and D. Clark. First year I finished 6-7 and last year was 7-6, barely made playoffs each year and was eliminated in 1st round each year. S. Smith (CAR) was obtained in a trade before the 2010 season for Johnny Knox. After the 2010 season I decided it was time to make changes and start moving older players before they lost value, especially since I was only at .500 over 2 seasons with these players. At the end of the season I moved Wayne and 2011 pick 1.08 for Bowe and 2011 pick 2.10. Then as our draft approached I made the 2 deals above.Wayne will be 33 in the middle of the upcoming season, Smith will soon be 33, and Turner is 29. Turner was RB16 on ppg basis in our league both of the past 2 seasons, while Smith was WR9 in 2009 and WR67 in 2010 on a ppg basis. If I felt I had been close to winning the league at any point it would have made sense to hold 1 or more of these guys and tinker with the rest of the team. But based on past experience that was not the case so I didn't see any reason to hold them past the point where they had any trade value.Based on opinions I've seen in the Asst. Coaches forum, Turner's value in a dynasty PPR league seemed to be in the 1.05 - 1.08 range, so 1.06 seemed fair. I didn't even bother looking for Smith's value as I figured that given his age, his decline over the past 5 years, and the uncertainty about his future that a 1st round pick would be a good deal. So 1.06 and 1.11 seemed fair to me, or at least not getting "killed". Each guy may have a couple of good years left in him, but I don't think that would have meant much to my team and I would have been holding them until they had little trade value. Now just seemed like the right time to cash out while I still could.Really? Team A gave up two players that will likely combine for one more good season and got two first round picks for it. All right. I guess that makes sense. I'm just more of a guy that thinks "you have to try to win sometime" and while you have a good idea what you're going to get from Turner, you're rolling the dice on whoever it is you're going to get with the rookie pick actually outperforming him. Getting a 1.11 for Smith was a good move, based on what I've seen to be the general consensus around here.So "killed" was a bit much I suppose. And your reasoning is sound.Based on opinions I've seen in the Asst. Coaches forum, Turner's value in a dynasty PPR league seemed to be in the 1.05 - 1.08 range, so 1.06 seemed fair. Top 5 QB in PPG last year and still under 30? I think Freeman qualifies for "most overrated" a little more if we're hanging that title on anyone. I tend to agree, thats what a 5 TD game late in the season will do for a young player. i actually think Ben might be a bit underrated in fanatsy football.Top 5 QB in PPG last year and still under 30? 'Cept he's had multiple top 10 seasons before, including a top 5 season. There's no reason for pause. If you look back through this thread, what is the straight up value for Ben? I don't remember (m)any trades targeting him, yet there are several where the other guy is clearly overpaying to get Freeman due to young QB syndrome. So that's cause for criticism but Ben's one multi-TD game in his last six last year doesn't give you pause?

Good point on the PPG scoring. However, after struggling in this league for the last 3 seasons having built strong at WR initially, I made trades last year to solidify my RB situation (I started with SJax as my only feature back, turned him into McFadden, Lynch, Fred Jackson for more consistent production and had a much better year after that. AJ is a great piece to have, but I'm finally coming over to the tried and true Zealot strategy of RB, RB, RB.'Go deep said:Andre Johnson scored 172 points, but did it on 13 games.
