2011 offseason dynasty trades (1 Viewer)

12 team PPR with eventual draft selections listed by pick. This actually involved more than one trade but this is the net result:

Team A acquired:

1.1 (AJ Green)

Emmanuel Sanders

Team B acquired:

Austin Collie

Legarette Blount

2.12 Tim Tebow

3.5 Bilal Powell

4.3 Eric Decker

4.5 Johnny White

Second round pick in 2012 rookie draft

Thats alot of stuff, but its just stuff, give me Green.

I am neither of these teams.

* A gave up Johnson, Calvin DET WR; Year 2011 Draft Pick 2.07

* B gave up Britt, Kenny TEN WR;Harvin, Percy MIN WR; Year 2011 Draft Pick 1.11

I really like Britt and Harvin, but Calvin is the one player in dynasty leagues that i wouldnt trade for anything other than a completely lopsided deal. This doesnt qualify.

This is an old 10 team dynasty squad (going into out 5th season I have won one title and finished second twice and third twice). I am a QB away from a title IMO.

Traded Frank Gore and the 1.8 rookie pick (which became Baldwin WR KC)

Recieved QB Michael Vick

Starting lineup will be

Vick

Charles

Foster

Andre Johnson

Dwayne Bowe

Anquan Boldin

Manningham

Winslow (or Cook if he breaks out)

Feel like Gore is coming off a very serious hip injury, 28 and I felt it was time to move him now for what I feel will be the number 1 QB and maybe player again this year. Vick is a beast in Philly.

I just drafted Telu RB Washington with the 2.6

12 team non-PPR IDP, 1/2/2/1 w/ RB/WR Flex & WR/TE Flex

Team A Gave:

1.02 & 2.09

Team B Gave:

1.06 & 1.07

Ingram was already off the board.

Guess I made one of the worst trades I've done in recent memory today (going by the feedback I've gotten)

Gave: Brees, Morgan

Got: Holmes, 3.8

Vick was my starting QB and I was trying to get younger at WR

For the league in my signature:

Team A Received

Maclin, Jeremy PHI WR

Year 2011 Draft Pick 3.06

Year 2012 Round 1 Draft Pick

Team B Received

Fitzpatrick, Ryan BUF QB

Williams, Mike TBB WR

Year 2012 Round 3 Draft Pick

Not sure what to think of this one. Team B must really like Fitzpatrick/Williams, but this doesn't exactly seem like buying low.

1 PPR

Gave: Holmes, Dez Briscoe, 3.1

Got: Beanie/Hightower

I needed the RB depth (not really counting on Beanie as a starter), and Holmes was my #3 at best (and probably #4 behind Colston). Might be a little high for Wells at the moment, considering some are offering seconds for him, but I think it's fair.

12 team PPR

This trade went down in 1 of my leagues earlier tonight, I was not one of the teams

Team A gives 1.11

Team B gives 2.04 and Spiller

Pretty expensive price to move up 5 spots, especially to draft Demarco Murray.

Where'd he draft Spiller at last year?

Especially when there's a better than average chance he could have drafted Murray at 2.04.

While you didn't get great value, if you improved your starting lineup and your chance to win this year, that's a trade you do.

Might have gotten more, but I don't see it as super awful. I'm a Santonio fan though.

12 team non-PPRTeam A gives Roddy WhiteTeam B gives Maclin + 1.07
Maclin is a solid player and can only get better....however why do people constantly overvalue lotto tickets like the 1.7. Roddy White is worth more than that. he is in the prime of his career and has a few more elite seasons left. Maclin was a great land but I would have asked for another solid veteran vs a lotto ticket at 1.7 for the #1 WR last season.

I don't mind this one actually, I think it's pretty even.

I really don't see this as a bad trade at all. If I wasn't competing for a title, I'd sell Roddy for that. You can always trade the 1.7, and still have a nice, young WR in Maclin.

Im regreting a trade i made earlier today, i did it just because im a rookie pick junkie.

Sam Bradford

Knowshon Moreno

Trent Cole

Barret Ruud

for

1.09

1.11

1.12

2,07

3.05

3.10

I already have Brees and Ryan, so i could afford to get rid of Bradford, although that hurt the most.

I have Forte, Stewart, MJD(and backups), Bradshaw, DThomas, and Wells, so i doubt i would have ever used Moreno.

Cole is the only starter i lost, biut i have adequate backups.

The only other rookie pick i had before the trade was the 1.5.

If someone drops out of my dynasty league I will save you a spot if that is how you play it.
 Check your ego, man. You play to win the game, not have the prettiest roster.

Agree with the ego thing, if i hear "want to join my league" one more time i going to throw my computer.Doesnt a pretty roster mean you have a good team though?

It probably means you have a playoff team. Sometimes you go all in.
That's where people have an issue though. Adding Santonio Holmes isn't the equivalent to going "all in." It's fairly unlikely that Holmes will propel a team any further than he would've been without him, whereas there's a very good chance that an opportunity to move Brees for more than that package would've presented itself in the future. It's a bad trade with poor justification for pulling the trigger IMO.

ppr dynasty with 22 man rosters (QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, RB/WR/TE, K, D)

#1

A gives Steve Johnson and 1.7

B gives Forte

#2

A gives Addai and 2.04

B gives Driver and 1.10

#3

A gives Gore and 3.04

B gives Maclin and 2.02

Ahh, yes, the ultimate jab at a fellow fantasy footballer. It must be hard to find space in your dwelling with all your 1st place trophies.

That is a good point. If your totally out of it.

If that is directed towards me I have to laugh. I have 13 dynasty leagues, and if I posted every roster in each league I don't think you'd be assuming I'm a guppie and begging me to join your leagues. Did I make a bad deal? Yeah, probably. But for every deal like this I have 10 that I'm on the other side winning. It happens. We can't always win on EVERY trade, waiver pickup, and move we make. And even despite that awful trade, in this league I'm still playing for free since I won the league 2 years ago. I can live with my mistake. ;)

The truth is, I shopped Vick or Brees and couldn't get jack crap for offers. I got impatient and made a bad deal. Lesson learned, I should have remained patient and waited until the season started or someone's QB went down. But again, I haven't crippled my team. Vick, Ray Rice, MJD, Wayne, Collie, Smitty, Holmes, Ford, Sanders, Randy Moss, Cooley, Cook, I have players that will likely help me win more weekends than I lose.
