If Delone Carter falls to you at 1.11, you have to take him. Too many questions regarding Addai and Brown added to the fact that Carter's a good runner makes picking him at 1.11 a no-brainer.

D Brown has blocking issues, but I still believe Colts will give him every opportunity to earn more carries. D Carter is just going to be a third down back at this point.

Hankerson and T Smith are extremely underrated.

@ul,

If that is it then I'm not too worried especially about Carter!

Agree about Smith too! They are their for our picking! :)

I always find it interesting to see where the votes go after a player is selected in the previous poll.

For example in the 1.10 PPR poll, Randall Cobb was the choice for over half of the voters and Vincent Brown had no votes. In the 1.11 PPR poll, Vincent Brown has picked up a significant number of votes.

Helu is going to make these rankings look silly...kid is in the perfect situation.
You might be right. He seems to have landed in a relatively good situation, and Rich Tandler with CSN Washington is a fan stating that "fourth-round draft pick Roy Helu could flat beat him (Torain) out for the starting job". The good news is that if you are targeting him in a rookie draft right now, it doesn't appear that he will be going any earlier then late in the first round at best.

classic fantasy footballer mistake...paying too much attention to the round the player was drafted in and not taking the actual situation into account.value city, as this thread indicates. :fish:

It isn't like Torain has a high draft round pedigree either, nor is he an exceptional talent. Shanahan has proven that he isn't afraid to use multiple running backs when he doesn't have a clear cut workhorse and with injuries at the position Helu will have his opportunity to get on the field.

the only issue i see is Helu's ability to stay healthy since he doesn't have a clear record in the regard. However, he has shown the ability to play through it so he's more than worth a spot in 2 of 3 drafts here (not the 2 QB)

I won't touch a Skins WR this early from past failures. It is a new coaching staff and all but I've been bit too many time.

I thought they projected Carter as an inside runner, but it seems he has some upside in passing game although he wasn't thrown to much at Syracuse so we don't know if he'll be able to catch passes like Addai. Here's a good link: http://www.colts.com/sub.cfm?page=article7&news_id=55463e77-1994-488d-9ce6-a6cab0444666If he ends up as the SY guy & 3rd down back, then I'll buy at his current value every time. Indy is in passing sets more often than not so he'd get plenty of work and throw in TD's from SY, what is not to like?

Wow! 5 players tied right now with 12 votes each in PPR.

We need a few more votes this morning, and then we can move on to rookie 1.12!

I think a classic mistake is trusting shanahan. Every year, a mid to late rb is taken by shanahan and annointed as "the guy."We'll be having this same conversation next year......
