Well Tannehill is younger than Cutler and maybe has more upside (though it's probably unlikely that he'll end up being any better).I'm not sure why a rebuilding team would give up Luck. Seems like a big mistake to me. Good for you though.

Because he also had RG3.No reason to carry them both on a rebuild if there's needs elsewhere. I like the Luck side of this one too, but sometimes a seemingly uneven trade can still be a win-win.

He could have got much more than that out of Luck - that's why it's a bad trade.

In some leagues probably so. IN a lot of my leagues though...QB's are hard to trade. Not always easy to get "value" out of them. I like this thread and talks about player values in trades, but QBs are generally the hardest to translate league to league.IN one of my leagues where QB's are tough to move, I recently traded RG3 and a throwaway WR for Matt Schaub and Crabtree. ON paper, I know I lost the trade, but QBs don't move in that league and I had another legit QB1 in Eli Manning. I like Crabtree as a long term high end WR2, so the deal made sense for me.Perhaps he should have shopped Luck looking for more, but it's wrong to assume he could have gotten more, and it's still a waste to hold both him and RG3 on the same roster if there's a need elsewhere.

I agree with you on QB's being hard to trade but Luck is considered by most to be a top 5 QB talent and should go for more than your usual QB1. I guess most of the problem I have is that I don't think Morris is a good fit for a rebuilding team - especially in PPR. Also, even if the guy holds onto to Luck this year it's not as if Luck will lose any value.

McCoy should demand a lot more than that, still. Brown is a concern, as he is getting tough yardage looks, and the offensive line is struggling a bit - but Shady is an elite talent, still the age of some rookies.

I usually start Rodgers and Flex RG3, so Vick was rotting on my bench, plus he's a free agent at the end of the year, so I only had him for 10 more games anyhow.

My weakest point in my roster atm is my DEs mainly because Trent Cole has done a disappearing act, and I'm in championship mode, and Allen is no slouch. I'll lose Allen at the end of the year, so pretty much he's a rent a DE but getting a young DE is incredibly hard, as owners just do not part with their DEs. For example, Sheard went for a future first at the beginning of the year.

Except any semblance of short-area explosiveness or quicks. Contrary to popular belief, good height and a decent 40 time ≠ "all the tools". Hawkins has no less ability than Baldwin, just a different skill set.

I own Baldwin in a lot of leagues, but I actually think Roberts is the best player in that trade. He has looked really good this year. Reminds me of Derrick Mason or a touch of Victor Cruz. If he played in a better offense with a better QB, he could be a really solid scorer. I am still optimistic about Baldwin, but I have cooled on him a bit since the preseason. His height, strength, leaping ability, and ball skills make him really dangerous in certain situations. However, his release off the line of scrimmage is sluggish at times and he is a bit awkward in his route running.

And even if ARI runs a lot of 3-wide sets, getting Fitz, Floyd, and Roberts on the field (assuming that Roberts plays slot), they still need to acquire a competent QB...will he be able to make three guys fantasy relevant? These are all questions we can't even begin to answer. Mostly because we don't know what Floyd is yet or what the future holds for ARI at QB.

Then you've also got the potential of Housler waiting to emerge.

I agree with all of that, but Roberts's contract only runs through 2013. You can never assume that a player is going to sign elsewhere, but I would venture to guess that Roberts will command significant attention on the free agent market, as good WRs often do. Given that Arizona has a lot of money tied up in Fitzgerald and that they just invested a first rounder in Floyd, I think there's a realistic chance that Roberts will move elsewhere after next season. Not a guarantee by any means, but something to consider.

I'm just not a fan of Lynch and he has a very tough schedule - including the Cardinals and 49ers during the playoffs week 14 and 16 - but I think it's selling too low. Almost everyone considers him a top 15 RB so he should be worth a couple of firsts, or at least a very high one.

Seems a horrible trade giving Welker for that. But it can be very difficult to get good value for older players.
