2012 Offseason Dynasty Trades (1 Viewer)

JenningsDemarco MurrayForNicksQuiz rodgers
Would rather have Nicks than Jennings by a lot, but not enough to give up Murray.
I wasn't involved in this deal, but I thought the same thing. Although I do think it's a pretty even trade. I will say I could easily see this ending up as a steal for the guy getting nicks
Depends on Quizz I think -- latest is he'll be much more involved in the offense, so it could end up as a good deal.

$220 Salary cap league

Team A gives cj2k $55, Antonio Brown $10, jerod Mayo $8

Team B gives Marshawn $5, Sid Rice $9, knowshon Moreno $20 and posluzny $10

did not see it in the thread but has anyone seen Colston being moved? I think his value tanks if he doesn't resign with NO and thinking about selling early.

I've seen no movement whatsoever with Colston in any of my various leagues. Just a gut feeling but, I think most folks are either holding (for now) to see how free agency works out for Colston, or can't find a buyer because the possible buyers are waiting for the same reason.HTH

12 team PPR. .5 for RB, 1 for WR, 1.5 for TE

Team A Trades: WR Titus Young, 2.07

Team B Trades: QB Matt Flynn

Team B already has Cam Newton and Phillip Rivers at QB

Also is a devy league with 12 college players already rostered so that 2nd is more like a 3rd rounder

You lost big time on both those deals.
big time, really? All these bad deals in this thread and you pick these as the 'big time' losses?Baldwin is likely the WR1 in KC and wouldn't surprise me to see him immediately replace Bowe's numbers. I have Aaron Hernandez who I would start over VD anyways. Hardesty also could have some value when the season comes around as I don't expect the Browns to spend on a RB.Giving up a rookie pick for Helu/Royster when I have 1.03, 1.07, 1.09, 1.10, and 1.11 wasn't a real big deal to me to get someone that I wanted. I am about 90% sure that I will still get my guy at 1.07

Agree with you - while one could debate these deals, neither was a "big time" loss (if a loss at all.)

10 team, start QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/flex, 1/2 ppr for WR/TE only. 5 yr max contracts.

Traded

Dez Bryant (5 yr), Beanie Wells (3 yr), Ryan Williams (2 yr), Denarius Moore (5 yr), Taiwan Jones (open contract - up to 5 yr), rookie picks 12 and 20

Received

Rookie pick 1.01

~~~~~~~~~
I was deep at WR (Nicks, Fitz, S.Johnson) and questionable at RB (J.Charles with a 1 yr contract), so I wanted a blue chip RB for the long-term. I will also acquire 1-2 impact players in our offseason RFA, so I should be good with depth again.
I like Dez quite a bit, but think his upside is capped due to Romo being capable of exploiting mismatches instead of forcing the ball to Dez.
I actually like Beanie's talent rather much as well, but his injury history and possible RBBC has me coolish on his fantasy prospects.
When you are targeting pick 1.01, you have to pay top dollar, so I rarely go after those top picks. I had a stockpile of talent, most of which I had no real equity in (only Dez was somewhat costly to acquire, the others I received cheaply), so I was kind of locking in a profit, so to speak. Hopefully Mr. Richardson is the RB anchor I need him to be.
Team A gave:
Darren McFadden RB OAK
Hakeem Nicks WR NYG
2012 1.04 Rookie Pick
2013 4th round rookie pick
Team B gave:
Calvin Johnson WR DET
Mark Ingram RB NO
2012 1.09 Rookie Pick
I'd NEVER move Calvin for that, even though I love Nicks. :yucky:
12 team, .5 ppr, start 1/2/3/1
I gave: 1.05/1.10/Crabtree/Palmer
I got: Forte
I really just needed a RB. Crabtree was WR5 and Palmer QB3.
I like McFadden much more than Ingram, and depending who is available at the 1.04 I may take that side.
Yeah out of all the trades involving megatron in this thread, this is the only one I thought was a good deal. I think this is pretty even
12 team PPR
Team X gave up:
Manning, Peyton IND QB
Fighting Couch Potatoes 4 gave up:
Year 2013 Round 2 Draft Pick from Fighting Couch Potatoes 4
(pick is likely in 2nd half of round)
12 team dynasty PPR (neither of these teams are mine)
Team A got: Greg Jennings, Lance Moore and 4th round pick
Team B got: Stevan Ridley, Austin Colie, Mike Wallace and a 3rd round pick
1.08 + HenneforSchaub (team acquiring has Yates also)
I don't think Schaub is worth that. He's probably a QB2 from this point forward. Between his injury, AJ's injuries/age, and their strong running game I don't think you can win in fantasy if he's your starter. He didn't look good last year, and he was bailed out by a few fluky plays which enhanced his numbers.
I also like the 1.08 side. It may be a bust, but I would take my chances.
I think that's a pretty fair trade if you need a starting qb. Schaub isn't elite, but he won't lose you the game, either. If I had a decent team, but was starting a qb (henne, ponder, bradford, etc) that automatically loses you the qb matchup every week, I'd give 1.08 for schaub as well.
Hefty overpay for Schaub imo with no real potential of being considered a dynasty QB1 from this point forward. Even a second rounder may be too much. As we have seen with other trades, QBs can run pretty cheap, even for QB1s today with additional upside (e.g., Matt Ryan).
Team A gave: Steve Smith & Hightower
Team B gave: Little & Sidney Rice
Thoughts on this? PPR dynasty
Couple trades I made in a couple different leagues the past two days:
1--Orphan rebuild
Gave:
Brandon Marshall
Got:
Jeremy Maclin
1.10
2--Championship contender
Gave:
1.11
Got:
Steven Jackson
Starters now:
Cam
Foster, S-Jax/TRich (1.01)
Megatron, VJax, Bowe, Austin
Witten
Needed to grab a fill-in, older possible RB1 to compete in case TR doesn't make the immediate impact I'm expecting. I feel pretty good about it, even though I like the end of the 1st this year. Still, for a competing team I think the value is right.
Trade 1:
Team A Receives: Chris Johnson and Stevie Johnson
Team B Receives: Ray Rice and Austin Collie
Trade 2:
Team A Receives: Josh Freeman, Denarius Moore, and Arrellious Benn
Team B Receives: Mike Vick, 2012 3rd round rookie pick, 2012 4th round rookie pick
I like the sjax trade for you a lot. I think the 1.11 will be a good player this year, but sjax should be a high end rb2 with rb1 upside for atleast the next two years. I know people are predicting his decline, but the guys a beast. I could see him bucking the trend.
Also like the Cam/Beanie/Nicks side. I like every piece of that side more, other than Rodgers/Cam...and the difference there doesn't make up the difference in value between Nicks/Beanie and Harvin/LeShoure.
