Would rather have Nicks than Jennings by a lot, but not enough to give up Murray.JenningsDemarco MurrayForNicksQuiz rodgers
I wasn't involved in this deal, but I thought the same thing. Although I do think it's a pretty even trade. I will say I could easily see this ending up as a steal for the guy getting nicksWould rather have Nicks than Jennings by a lot, but not enough to give up Murray.JenningsDemarco MurrayForNicksQuiz rodgers
Depends on Quizz I think -- latest is he'll be much more involved in the offense, so it could end up as a good deal.I wasn't involved in this deal, but I thought the same thing. You win nicely.I get - Austin and NicksforS.Smith (Car) and Britt
I've seen no movement whatsoever with Colston in any of my various leagues. Just a gut feeling but, I think most folks are either holding (for now) to see how free agency works out for Colston, or can't find a buyer because the possible buyers are waiting for the same reason.HTHdid not see it in the thread but has anyone seen Colston being moved? I think his value tanks if he doesn't resign with NO and thinking about selling early.
Ooof. Nicks Austin by a mileYou win nicely.I get - Austin and NicksforS.Smith (Car) and Britt
big time, really? All these bad deals in this thread and you pick these as the 'big time' losses?Baldwin is likely the WR1 in KC and wouldn't surprise me to see him immediately replace Bowe's numbers. I have Aaron Hernandez who I would start over VD anyways. Hardesty also could have some value when the season comes around as I don't expect the Browns to spend on a RB.Giving up a rookie pick for Helu/Royster when I have 1.03, 1.07, 1.09, 1.10, and 1.11 wasn't a real big deal to me to get someone that I wanted. I am about 90% sure that I will still get my guy at 1.07You lost big time on both those deals.gave up 1.06got: Helu, Roy WAS RB;Royster, Evan WAS RBgave up: Harris, DuJuan JAC RB;Spann, Chad PIT RB;Davis, Vernon SFO TE; Year 2012 Round 3.09Got: Hardesty, Montario CLE RB;Ogbonnaya, Chris CLE RB;Baldwin, Jon KCC WR; 2012 3.01
Agree with you - while one could debate these deals, neither was a "big time" loss (if a loss at all.)big time, really? That's about as even as they come. I guess Dez has a higher ceiling than Austin but he also has a much higher knucklehead factor.PPRTeam A gave Gronk / AustinTeam B gave Graham / Dez
I'll take the DMC/Bush side of this anyday. Especially with their new OC.12 team PPR dynasty Team A gave: Mendenhall, Redman, 1.11, 3.12 Team B gave: McFadden, Mike Bush

Yeah out of all the trades involving megatron in this thread, this is the only one I thought was a good deal. I'll take the forte side, although if the guy giving him up is in rebuild mode, I could understand.12 team, .5 ppr, start 1/2/3/1I gave: 1.05/1.10/Crabtree/PalmerI got: ForteI really just needed a RB. Crabtree was WR5 and Palmer QB3.

I don't think Schaub is worth that. He's probably a QB2 from this point forward. Between his injury, AJ's injuries/age, and their strong running game I don't think you can win in fantasy if he's your starter. He didn't look good last year, and he was bailed out by a few fluky plays which enhanced his numbers.1.08 + HenneforSchaub (team acquiring has Yates also)
I also like the 1.08 side. It may be a bust, but I would take my chances.I don't think Schaub is worth that. He's probably a QB2 from this point forward. I think that's a pretty fair trade if you need a starting qb. Schaub isn't elite, but he won't lose you the game, either. If I had a decent team, but was starting a qb (henne, ponder, bradford, etc) that automatically loses you the qb matchup every week, I'd give 1.08 for schaub as well.I also like the 1.08 side. Kinda tired of waiting on Rice to put it all together and stay on the field... give me 1.8 here.1 pprTeam A receives: Sidney RiceTeam B receives: 1.8
Hefty overpay for Schaub imo with no real potential of being considered a dynasty QB1 from this point forward. Even a second rounder may be too much. As we have seen with other trades, QBs can run pretty cheap, even for QB1s today with additional upside (e.g., Matt Ryan).I think that's a pretty fair trade if you need a starting qb. I like the sjax trade for you a lot. I think the 1.11 will be a good player this year, but sjax should be a high end rb2 with rb1 upside for atleast the next two years. I know people are predicting his decline, but the guys a beast. I could see him bucking the trend.Couple trades I made in a couple different leagues the past two days:1--Orphan rebuildGave:Brandon MarshallGot:Jeremy Maclin1.102--Championship contenderGave:1.11Got:Steven JacksonStarters now:CamFoster, S-Jax/TRich (1.01)Megatron, VJax, Bowe, AustinWittenNeeded to grab a fill-in, older possible RB1 to compete in case TR doesn't make the immediate impact I'm expecting. I feel pretty good about it, even though I like the end of the 1st this year. Still, for a competing team I think the value is right.
Did you watch Steve Smith this year? He was FANTASTIC. Just curious, do you think he can't repeat that and are down on him or you just like Little and Brittle Rice that much?Little and Rice by a lot for me.Team A gave: Steve Smith & HightowerTeam B gave: Little & Sidney RiceThoughts on this?
