2012 Offseason Dynasty Trades (2 Viewers)

seems like a lot to give for the 1.08, but if Wayne and Williams might not be in your final 12 in 2013, i guess it makes sense
they were on the cusp. Was basically faced with keeping 2 of these 4 WRs: Wayne, Williams, Holmes and Collie.I first offered Holmes and Williams, but he countered with Wayne, so I figured what the heck since I wanted another 1st this year.ETA: not that anyone asked but this now gives me the 1.01, 1.07 and 1.08 in this league, so I figure TRich, one of Hillman/Pead, and one of Blackman/Floyd/Wright will be a nice injection of upside youth to the roster.

as someone in this league, think Team A over paid for T Smith and lost the DJax trade, too...

Team A did not receive Torrey Smith. So, how could Team A overpay? Makes your comment about DJax confusing.Looking at the FBG dynasty rankings:Team A - Crabtree (t-38th), Quick (60th), draft pickTeam B - Smith (29th)- think it is pretty even and the ages are pretty equal.Team A - DJax (26th)Team C - Wayne (t-38th), draft pick, draft pick- Team A gains age while not losing much.

Team A gave up

Baker, Edwin SDC RB

Bell, Kahlil CHI RB

Best, Jahvid DET RB

Washington, Leon SEA RB

Graham, Jimmy NOS TE

Team B gave up

Green, Alex GBP RB

Powell, Bilal NYJ RB

Sproles, Darren NOS RB

Starks, James GBP RB

Davis, Vernon SFO TE

Team A was 8-8 last year, gained Wilson in the draft. Should have shot at playoffs for sure.

Team B was league champ, has all detroit RBs now, Washington backing up Lynch, Wells and DeAngelo at RB. WR/QB and now TE are strongest parts of his team. The GB RBs and Powerll unlikely to see field, so came down to Sproles/Vernon for Graham/handcuffs.

Geez, that's bad.

Graham should never be dealt when the player of most value coming back your way is a quickly depreciating Darren Sproles. Vernon is nice and all but this is a very poor trade.

 I don't think it's that bad. I'd rather have Graham in a vacuum, but it's not like Davis isn't a very good TE and Sproles could help win a championship this season.

Will be reversed in that view within 18 months IMO

If it matters, I forgot to include that it is a 12 team PPR league, start QB/2 RB/3 WR/TE/Flex/K/D.

Team A Gets : Roddy White, Reggie Wayne, Phil Rivers, 2.2, 2.5

Team B Gets : Peyton Manning, Alex Smith, Brandon Marshall, 1.6, 3.6

Team A has Stafford at QB.

Don't get greedy.

League with a scoring system that strongly favors stud QBs. No PPR or TE bonus. Draft coming up next week.

Team A Gives:

Adrian Peterson

Brandon Pettigrew

Team B Gives:

2012 Pick 1.03

Re: for the 1.03, in this system, I would rank Luck/RG3/Richardson in that order. They're so close that they're basically equal in my mind, and no idea how the top 3 plays out on draft day.

Gave:

Vincent Brown

Got:

Jahvid Best

After the Brown injury, logged in to find three different trade offers for him! Guys trying to buy low apparently. This was the one I went with because I'm incredibly stacked at WR in this league and weak at RB, so it was worth the risk. I'm hoping I look back and see this trade as a great buy-low.

3 way trade just happened.

Start 1 qb/2rb/3wr/1te/1flex(any)/idp 1ppr/4pt passing td/standard

(And before you ask, we have a rule where the winner gets to rename the last place team, complete with a new team icon. We all went to college together, and the last place team last year was "Jenifer to the fifth". He is now dating his 5th Jennifer, and his icon is a collage of all of their faces, it's pretty epic.)

B.S. Inc gave up:

Johnson, Andre HOU WR

Bush, Reggie MIA RB

Thomas, Daniel MIA RB

Year 2013 Round 2 Draft Pick from B.S. Inc

Year 2013 Round 2 Draft Pick from The Notorious B.I.Goz

Year 2014 Round 1 Draft Pick from B.S. Inc

Go Titans gave up:

Jones-Drew, Maurice JAC RB

Jenifer to the fifth gave up:

Hunter, Kendall SFO RB

Jennings, Rashad JAC RB

Marshall, Brandon CHI WR

B.S. Inc received:

Jones-Drew, Maurice JAC RB

Jennings, Rashad JAC RB

Marshall, Brandon CHI WR

Go Titans received:

Hunter, Kendall SFO RB

Bush, Reggie MIA RB

Thomas, Daniel MIA RB

Year 2013 Round 2 Draft Pick from B.S. Inc

I thought BS INC won the trade, just because he got the best two players imo. I'm not very high on Bush/Thomas, and Marshall is at least as valuable as AJ, if not more.

Ouch!! Somebody just got worked real nice. A rookie that has never played a down and a WR that has never played a full season for one of the best backs in the NFL and still quite young. Then this guy also includes a 2nd....Even if Thomas becomes a top 5 WR this guy still gets worked in this deal and I doubt top 5 is in the cards, top 10 perhaps.A savy trader should have been able to get so much more here.

Yeah, 18 months is a long time. Rice "should" have 2 more top 5 finishes in that time frame as well as only be 27 years old. Wilson may not even be the fulltime starter 18 months from now, Peyton might be retired by then. That being said, DT & Wilson have a ton of upside. With Peso & Gian's roster, they can afford to gamble on the longterm...

•Taint Meat Strips gave up Cutler, Jay CHI QB;Collie, Austin IND WR; Year 2013 Round 1 Draft Pick from Taint Meat Strips;Year 2013 Round 3 Draft Pick from Taint Meat Strips

•Hard Knocks gave up Roethlisberger, Ben PIT QB;Sanders, Emmanuel PIT WR; Year 2013 Round 2 Draft Pick from Hard Knocks; $10.00 in blind bidding

2014 1st round pick (playoff team)
