just keep going into the playoffs, if you don't have a playoff team to use you are eliminated.

I would have each person include a point differential guess. Closest to actual would win as a tiebreaker.

I always hate the "without going over" crap. It should always just be whoever is closest, but I do like this idea.

In week 17 each team would have 16 teams to choose from and rank those teams in order based on confidence they'd win. Keep going down the list eliminating teams until only one team remains? Obviously you'll have some games where both teams playing are going to be selected/ranked, but just a quick thought.

Closest would probably be better, just used to the "Price is Right" method...

Any tiebreaker used wouldn't start until the first week of the playoffs. Week 16 and Week 17 will be played normally, and we'll see who we're left with after that. Your idea might work for the four wild card games tho - I'll have to think on it some more.

I like this idea for the playoffs if there is still a tie after the regular season. If it's still tied after this, I'm not telling any of them they are a loser.
