Apparently BlueJay fans aren't stuffing the ballot box. EE deserves to be in the mix at 1B

Orioles fans certainly do (I guess there is still quite an overlap with Redskins fans). They've got a lot of guys well worth AS consideration, but some probably higher than they ought to be. And, of course, Brian Roberts being 5th in 2B voting is just silly.

Yeah, they really do.

Torii Hunter currently in line for a starting spot is pretty absurd.
At first glance, I thought so too, but he's having a good year. Hitting 316 with a 363 OBP. McLouth or Coco Crisp are probably the most-deserving 3rd choice right now, but I didn't expect them to be in 3rd. Case could be made for Bautista too, but he's struggled a bit. Alex Gordon another consideration. Those 3 are all within striking distance of Hunter. AL OF is significantly weaker than the NL.

THIRD BASE

1. Miguel Cabrera, Tigers: 1,500,165
Alanna Rizzo on MLB Network just said that Cabrera has never been voted to start an All-Star game. I was surprised to hear that. I had just assumed.

Roberts being voted that high is ridiculous. Although, at least he's played a game this season. There's another player ranked 5th that hasn't.

You know, after I said that about BAL, I realized that Roberts is the only one really out of line. Everyone else besides Jones, is currently ranked pretty much where they rank in WAR for that position.

They certainly aren't stuffing like TEX and NYY.

AL OF is weak, but I'd put all four of the names that you mentioned above Hunter. Bautista's BA is low, but he has a higher OBP than Hunter, to go along with his much better power.
