I wanted to create a thread solely devoted to the 2013 Daily Fantasy Games and FanDuel specifically. As some of you may be aware 2012 was more than kind to me as I took home the Footballguys FanDuel Championship and pocketed the 15K in prize money. Well fast forward a year and now as a staff member at Footballguys I am blessed to write about the Daily Fantasy Game and share articles, strategies, tips, and weekly plays about the growing fantasy industry.

The first of six strategy articles is titled Daily Games Introduction - Part 1: What is FanDuel?

I will be posting these articles weekly during the offseason along with some Daily Fantasy strategy articles, and some interviews from some of the big name Daily players over at FanDuel.

Let's make this the central thread when it comes to all things related to Daily Fantasy Football. We can discuss/share lineups, post freerolls, talk strategy/tips, etc.

fanduel is great!! the Naapstermaan interview was good. I found his comments on strategy , involving multiple entries very interesting, in the fact that for the most part, he will only vary his kickers and defense, while keeping the rest of his lineup in tact. unfortuneatly , there were only a few tidbits of info.

As we share strategies with almost everyone we play against? Not the smartest call, but to each his own.

I understand wanting to help, but people share too much info, part of the strategy is not to tip your hand in these daily competitions, Rule #1. But you should know that, you won one last year.

Phenix - I agree that one of the biggest strategies in the daily games is staying quiet and not showing your hand but at the same time people are going to pick who they want in the end. Not many times that people will play an exact lineup that someone suggest. The Daily Games is a growing industry and at Footballguys we want to help out those that are just starting out in the format.

i did two years ago when i was in contention in my season long league. for example, if you are in the playoffs playing against a few big studs, it might be wise to have them in some daily lineups just in case they go off and you're assured a losing playoff week.
