I've been playing with the ESPN playoff machine, and I still feel like the Steelers pretty much control their own destiny.
Yes, it would require them to run the table, but all 3 home games look like wins to me. So it becomes a question of if Rodgers will play in the Packers game and maybe beat them.
It would also require the Ravens to lose 1 game, but I think that's probable, and that even 2 losses in the final 4 weeks (Min, @Det, NE, @Cincy) might be likely.
If Pitt and Balt finish tied at 9-7, the Steelers will be 4-2 in the division. The Ravens already have 2 divisional losses, so if the Ravens finish 9-7, but their loss is vs. Cincy, they're out.
But say the Ravens beat Cincy, and that their loss is to either Detroit or New England. In that case, Pitt and Balt are tied at 9-7 and 4-2 in the AFCN. The next tie-breaker is record in common games, and the Steelers would beat them there. If the Steelers win out, they will be 8-4 in common games. And the Ravens would have 5 losses vs. common opponents (Cle, Buff, Det/NE, Chi, GB).
It's not over for the Steelers yet.
