We've just completed Week 1 of a thrilling start to NFL free agency - the kind of dizzying transactional porn that Twitter was made for. Labels for "winners" and "losers" in this frenetic process are already being handed out. Fan bases wailing for their team not being more involved can be heard from coast to coast.

But should you be upset if your team isn't out there burning up the news headlines with big-money deals?

Not if you paid any attention at all to what happened just a year ago...

2014 was a historically bad year for jumping in early on the big-money free agency contracts that made teams "winners" of imaginary free agency crowns. Somehow, not racing to the front this season and retracing the steps that rarely work is "losing." Welcome to the insanity of the NFL.

Let's take a peek at last year's class of top NFL free agents and the teams they signed with. This particular Top 10 list was provided by NFL.com prior to the opening of last year's free agency, and shows in big, bright flashing lights why sometimes it's good to be a "loser"...
