2014 US OPEN: Pinehurst#2 (1 Viewer)

[In The Zone]

A good friend of mine got us tickets for 2 days at th US Open next week,. I've never been to this event or this area of North Carolina before. Can anyone recommend viewing spots, course layout, things to do and see in the village, etc?

Also, can anyone recommend some restaurants in the area in Southern Pines , Sanford, Lillington, Dunn, or Fayetteville.

As far as the tournament goes it looks pretty wide open. If I had to pick right now I would have to go with one of the favorites like Scott or Kuchar. Bubba is playing well also. Others I like are Rose, DJ, Speith, and Stenson.

I'm going to start one of those Change.org petitions to get this moved from Father's Day weekend. I'm always stuck going to someone's house or going out to eat somewhere and missing it.
