Italian Serie A champions Juventus, with the world's most interesting man, Andrea Pirlo, takes on Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona, with the worlds best footballer, Lionel Messi, in the Champions League Final in Berlin.

Who are you rooting for?

The world has been deprived of the long-awaited rematch between Luis Suarez' chompers, and Giorgio Chiellini's shoulder, when Chiellini was ruled out due to injury.

Looking forward to watching Tevez matchup against Mascherano & co. Tevez seems to have flown under the radar a bit, but has had a fantastic season. Total footballer, really enjoy watching him play.

Full time odds:

Barcelona is 8/13 odds to win

Juventus is 5/1 to win

Draw 3/1

Messi scoring first AND Barcelona winning 3-0: 33/1 odds

I have long admired Barcelona (and what is not to like?), so I'll be rooting for them, but I do like Pirlo and Buffon and Pogba, so I won't be disappointed if the Italians pull it off.

Today marks the end of my first full CL cycle, beginning with the league seasons of 2013-14. The more I know of it, the better I like it.

Pulling for a very fun Juvie eleven to put a dent in Spanish dominance.

Juventus are intriguing here.

They were given "no shot" v Madrid, and well... Here we are.

Allegri has shown on more than one occasion, with a seriously inferior Milan squad, they he can keep Barca in check (and even beat them pretty hard) when Barca aren't playing at home.

Which I think is the untold story here... Barca on the road are nowhere near as impressive, usually, against strong competition.

That being said, I haven't seen an attack like Barca's since Rijkaard, Gullit, Van Basten (et al) in the old historic Milan squad (though different in formation/use)

Barca to win 2-1... If I was betting. But Juventus, on neutral ground, playing counter attack, could quite conceivably pull off the victory. Id pay special attention to the aerial game for Juve... Morata may be the deciding factor.

It seems to me that Pogba and Vidal can be a serious factor in midfield today. Not saying they'll win it for the Old Lady because of that killer South American front line on the other side but those two guys are great, too.

And second the motion for lots of look-ins at Mrs. Pique.

Rooting for Juve...the Spanish superiority complex needs to be taken down a notch...and Pirlo is the coolest man on the planet.

Born in France and huge fan of French players, I can honestly say Pogba is one of the most overhyped players on earth.

Very good at times, but has never established himself on big stages or in CL. Until he does that, consistently, he's not a world class Mid.

Today though, he can make this post null and void. He has that ability. His upside seems limitless

If he has that ability, probably not terribly over-hyped...

He's shown the ability against midtable opposition.

I want to see it against the cream of the crop, in the biggest club tourney on earth.

The talent Juve had in midfield can control the game. This is a different Barcelona though, they play much more direct.

The Olympic Stadium doesn't look like a great place to see a game with its running track and gradually sloping bowl. The seats in the second deck are a long way from the action.

ETA: plus the Hitler factor to satisfy Godwin's Law

Nope. I didn't like it.

Does barca beat teams in la liga 15-0 every game or something? I'm a relative soccer noob and I know like 10 guys on the pitch for them.
