***2015 NHL Reg Season*** Gostibehere best prospect ever (2 Viewers)

Just another Caps dominating win and Kuznetsov playing at an elite level. His pass to Wilson from behind the net was another one of those wow moments he produces on a nightly basis.

Here's that pass - maybe the best one yet. Love how he's looking for Wilson over his shoulder even before Burakovsky wins the battle in the corner and nudges the puck his way.

Holtby moved up to #2 in all-time franchise wins with #129, passing the immortal Don Beaupre. Still has a ways to go to catch Olie the Goalie at 301.

So help me, I'm starting to believe. For once in my life, I'm not looking ahead to the playoffs with fear as I wonder how the Caps are going to blow it this time.

That being said, I just want to enjoy this special season while it lasts. Currently on a 20-2-2 streak and it just seems routine.

Canadians trading for an all-star winger!!!

Mckenzie: ARI-MTL trade call is in works. Tinordi to ARI and return expected to be John Scott and Stefan Elliott.

What is the fascination with John Scott? He has the worst hockey skills in the NHL but always seems to find a home. Obviously, he's a fighting beast which must be the reason he keeps landing somewhere even with fighting down.

How did I miss this? I guess this is why the NHL is changing the all star voting procedures?

Scott, a 33-year-old enforcer, has one assist over 11 games this season with 25 penalty minutes. Fans voted Scott in as an All-Star captain earlier this month.

I'm not sure how anyone could have missed it, honestly. been talked about for months during the voting process.

Halak has now beaten Lundqvist and the Blueshirts eight straight times.
Good times last night.....

Barclays truly sucks tho.... So cavernous you will never get a loud cheer in that place...(maybe it was just a Split crowd - But, still never like the Barn)

1 thing I'll say is every game I've gone to has been "Obstructed view" and I've lucked out with some great seats at a discount!!!

Brawls on the Train ride back were super exciting - Isles won those too!!!!

Ain't he playing in the AHL?

I've seen few if any news stories about the all star game. I really only watch games live or on tv. Don't really watch sports news etc. I'd heard there was an issue with the all star voting but didn't know the specifics.

John Scott being an all star captain is a joke especially since they playing 3v3. With him on the ice it might as well be 3v2.

LA Kings acquired Vincent Lecavalier and defenseman Luke Schenn from the Philadelphia Flyers for Jordan Weal and a 3rd-round pick in the 2016 NHL Draft

usually, and at the moment

You don't say no to Gary.

McKenzie: John Scott was previously asked by both NHL and Arizona Coyotes to bow out of NHL All-Star Game. He refused. Trade likely takes care of that.

He won't be in the all star game because he was traded? Why?

Screw them, they set up a gimmick system and they want the winner to abstain? I wish the public could vote for the All Star MVP too so Scott would win then proceed to drive the truck he wins over Bettman on his victory lap.

Maybe they'll try and use change of conference(not that it matters) as a reason? Real flimsy, but wouldn't shock me.
If he's assigned to the AHL I don't think he is eligible for the NHL All-Star game.

Ah there ya go.

he was assigned to the AHL before the trade. think he's been sent down at least 4 times already this year. But I guess the difference is that Montreal has no plans to call him back up again.

If someone says "the trade takes care of that", then I'd assume it's because the teams are assigned by division and he's no longer in the same division. But I doubt they would keep out a name player just b/c he got traded to another division prior to the ASG.

If you let the fans vote, let them vote and live with consequences. Seems messed up to me regardless of Scott as a player

Canucks and Panthers with some end of game festivities.

Denis Potivin:

"Ohhh the Sedins are pointing fingers now... Normally they only use their fingers to lick peanut butter off their bread".

Wtf?!
Potvin is a terrible color analyst.

But WTF was Dorsett doing challenging the backup goalie?
Who knows what happened. Potvin immediately blaming the Canucks is pure homerism.

NB: I hate the Ca-####s.
What happened was Thornton was on the ice just before the puck drop in OT and said to Daniel " you're still just the same ol' sisters" and after Daniel scored the winner in OT he skated by Thornton at the Panthers bench and said " You talk a good game. I play one". Thornton and Montoya then sprayed water on one of the Sedins which is why Dorsett skated over to Montoya.
I am by no means a Sedin fan but Shawn Thornton has a total of 94 points in his NHL career. He has no business talking #### to the Sedins.
I was wrong. Rumor has he said "If you guys are sisters does that mean your wives have coks" Kida funny words actually from such a #######

Cody "Joe Sakic" Hodgson placed on waivers by the Preds.
That was like 4 years ago that I said that. Can't I get a Statute of limitations pardon or something
There he is!!!! :excited:

I named my fantasy team The Jack Burton Express this year!!!!!
Damn straight. I tell the boys down at the Union hall and see if we cant get you some help next year. Push a few buttons and get you in the winners circle

It was very odd that Hagelin never fit in with the Ducks. Weird how hockey works like that sometimes Thought he be perfect with cogliano on a speed line. Even with Kesler and Silfverberg on 2nd line that is hot past 4 games, he just didn't fit.

According to puck daddy, Hagelin has a no trade clause that kicks in next year. That might explain the Ducks' impatience following the 4 year signing
