***2015 NHL Reg Season*** Gostibehere best prospect ever (1 Viewer)

Typical Philadelphia fan, talking #### waaaaaaaaay before his team is even near a championship.  You've had one in the last 35 years right?  Phillies that one forgettable year?

Sorry ####er, setting yourself up for yet another disappointment.  Make it happen sports Gods, deliver anotehr ##### slap to this ####### moron Philadelphia fan.
I don't think any Flyers fan is talking championship.  This a team that people said should be sellers at deadline.

Playoffs basically started a month ago for the Flyers just to get to this position.  And the ride has been fun...for a change.

I didn't say they'd be favored or anything, the Wild just match up better against the Hawks than teams like LA or St Louis.  Similar team makeup and the Wild can always skate with Chicago like they do every year.  If I could hand pick a team in the West to face right now it's Chicago.  Dallas without Seguin is close though.
:broom: oh....wait that emoticon isn't on FBGs is it? :coffee:

He's not really mad at us. He's scared to be turning into us with the Wings clown show of a goalie situation and possibly missing the playoffs. And of course losing a crucial game to the suckass Habs.

For those with kids who love hockey, and figures

Imports Dragon started making NHL 6 inch figures like Mcfarlane used to make. However, there is also a 2.5 inch version that also plays as a dice game. My son got one from the Easte bunny. My wife found it in the NHL store and didnt know what it was. After he opened it, we then had to buy 4 starter packs, 13 figures and 12 blind bags. This is his dream come true. He has been playing with the generic hockey guys and then the Rangers-Bruins and Canadiens- Maple Leafs set. Now he will have actual players to play with.

They are very hard to find though and Clark Toys just got a new shipment in. Here is the link for anyone interested. I have spent too much money on these in the past two days, but like I said, he loves them

Series 1

Series 2

Love what Keith brings to the ice but man does he go postal when he snaps. I would have no problems with a season ending suspension being handed down.
Agreed, not the first time he's done this (actually the 3rd) so I wouldn't be surprised if he sits into the playoffs, and wouldn't have any issues with it. Still no word on Crawford and that's an even bigger loss.

Word on Crawford is some type of head injury I guess.

Regarding Keith, agree completely. I understand Coyle upended him but you don't react like that. He deserves any suspension he gets.

I forgot about that. Wow.

Both teams would get mud stomped by the Caps so I don't see what the piss fight is all about.
I playfully told DrD to suck it in French, and then I enjoyed the fireworks display. :excited:

Mud stomped is pretty strong, Flyers would certainly lose a series but wouldn't be surprised if they made them a little nervous. They've played them surprisingly well recently and we all know the Caps history and Mason is hot. Ya never know. (If the flyers get in of course)

Holy ####! It's like a unicorn! Flyers eon a shootout!
Couldn't have come at a more perfect time. Love that second point. I said it above, the Flyers could give them some fits in a first round matchup if they meet up. Tonight's game was nasty.

Ah no, not really.  I've been saying for months this is the year the record playoff streak comes to an end.  I got mad because you decided to tell me to "suck it" out of no where.  Not sure I had a negative thing to say about the Flyers all year, or in years for that matter.  So I didn't really get that.  But stay classy Phila, that's what you guys are known for.

Sure they could.  :lmao:

Caps clinched everything, they had nothing to play for tonight.

   Jesus man, just having some fun with our two teams battling for a playoff spot, thought you would play along, didn't think you were so sensitive.

I guess you didn't watch the game because the Caps were far from disinterested. And oh by the way, the suckass Flyers are 8-2 last ten against the mighty Caps.

So, remind me how this works again. If the season ended today, both eastern wildcards would go to Metro division teams. So the Islanders, with the better record would play the division winner with the worse record (Lightning/Panthers in Atlantic ) and if they won, would play the other Atlantic series winner. Correct?

Yup

I thought the Caps gave a very good showing, don't mind them giving the Flyers the 2 points, as I'd prefer not to see them in the first round and I think they might end up climbing to #7.

That being said, I think Washington will handle them in a series pretty well. Even with literally nothing to play for, they outworked and outhit the Flyers, fighting for their lives in a playoff atmosphere at home. Happy to see Holtby playing well again, and Carlson getting his legs back. Little concerned about the lack of 5-on-5 offense, but oh well, and not sure what happened with Backstrom on the faceoffs.

Very fun game to watch.

So does this run finally dismiss the Neuvirth > Mason argument?

Or is he still just a good goalie on a hot streak?

Mason March stats: 8-2-2 1.88 GAA .933 SV%

I know it's not new news but Canadian teams are the bottom 4 in the west and bottom 3/5 in the east.  Lumbus and Buffalo are the other two.  \/\/o\/\/

I have no delusions that we could beat Wash in a series. I would just hope we could take it to 6 or 7.

Didn't realize there was a debate. Mason has always been the starter and Neuvirth the backup in my mind.  If they were both healthy, I feel Mason would still be playing all of these games down the stretch. They mean too much. We've basically been in the playoffs for a month now. Do or die.

WE HAVE ARRIVED

that was an argument? both are good and capable of hot streaks imo.

Neuvirth has always had trouble staying healthy throughout his career, but I think he's got more ability to steal a game for you than Mason does. Mason tends to have more ups and downs but can also be very good at times. It's a solid tandem.

Maybe not a debate, but it just seemed like whenever Mason let in a goal, you heard the "Neuvirth would have saved it."

When he got hurt, it seemed like Neuvirth was more of a 1B.

Call me delusional then.  Flyers have played Caps tough even when the games "mattered" apart from the first meeting.  Flyers have to be one of the hottest teams over the past few weeks.  Not going to be favorites but can see them winning.

I am fading the Caps in the playoffs until they show they can win.

All over TBL in the east.

Nash just scored an old school Nash goal.

Then the Rangers came within about two feet of putting the puck into their own net on a delayed penalty.

Acer please tell me you just saw that awful attempt at a play by Girardi which required an amazing bailout from Yandle to stop a breakaway, and then Girardi waited a whole 4 more seconds before trying a cross ice pass in his own zone which got intercepted and required another Yandle bailout.
