The agent for Derek Carr is claiming his client doesn't need hand surgery.
ESPN's
Chris Mortensen reported Wednesday that Carr might need an operation to address "numbness" in his right (throwing) ring finger. Carr's agent referred to it as a "nonstory," and a "very minor situation." The injury is significant enough to sideline Carr for post-draft OTAs. Agent Tim Younger says Carr "is probably going to be throwing" before training camp. "If he was really going to have hand surgery, I’d tell you," Younger said. "I’d tell everybody."
