This set of polls is for rookie picks post NFL draft. As always - please feel free to add any comments on why you selected a player at this slot and to suggest players who you think have been overlooked (or if you voted other, then please feel free to add a post on who you voted for).

The purpose for these polls is to attempt to roughly gauge the perceived values of the rookie players now that we know the context of their draft position and team that they are drafted by. These polls that take place after the NFL Draft should now factor in situation as well as talent, and of course the knowledge of what NFL Draft round and team each player has landed on.

Debate is very welcome as we all want to know not only which players are specifically ranked ahead of others but also why. This also bumps the thread so that more people will see the poll and hopefully participate by voting.

I will try to stay on top of these and keep the polls moving. The more votes the better. I prefer to not close any poll until there are at least 100 votes (since revised to close to 50 votes) and I might leave a poll open longer if the vote is very close between prospects.

At 44 votes now.

Devin Funchess leads the standard poll with 9 votes. Maxx Williams is close behind with 8 votes.

Jaelen Strong is leading the PPR poll with 10 votes. Maxx Williams has 8 votes.

Jaelen Strong is leading the 2QB poll with 6 votes. Duke Johnson has 5 votes.

At 49 votes there are two ties right now.

Funchess and David Johnson in the standard poll each have 9 votes.

Strong and Maxx Williams in the PPR poll each have 10 votes.

So I had hoped to complete this poll yesterday.

However Funchess and David Johnson have both been at 9 votes each in the standard poll since then. Votes have been coming in (about 13 votes since then) but all of those votes have been for other players. Marcus Mariotta for example has gone from 3 votes at that time to 7 votes now. Which is getting close to the lead of what Funchess and Johnson have now. There are currently six players who have 5 or more votes in the standard poll, not showing a clear preference for one player at all.

Jaelen Strong is leading the other two polls. Just looking for a vote to break this tie between Funchess and Johnson.

Poll closed at 65 votes.

Results-

Standard Scoring

2.03 WR Devin Funchess (17.9%)

PPR Scoring

2.03 WR Jaelen Strong (25%)

Start 2 QB Scoring

2.03 WR Jaelen Strong (12.5%)

One thing I wanted to note is that the PPR and 2QB poll are tracking closely on the decision of Strong at 2.03 because the percentage of 12.5% is exactly half of the 25% in the PPR poll, while half of the votes in the 2QB poll were do not play.

Poll 2.04 can be found here

To me this shows that there is a huge drop off at this stage in most league formats.
